Halo on your phone... or not
A GAF denizen posted some screenshots of a mobile phone Halo conversion he pitched some time ago (it was never greenlit) - I'd have bought it! Thanks, Dani. (Louis Wu 21:22:25 UTC) (permalink)
Battle Scars

Halo - for the Atari 2600
darthbob pointed out a post at NeoGAF - Ed Fries, the Ed Fries of Microsoft/Xbox fame, wrote a cool little Halo game for the Atari 2600 - and posted the binary at AtariAge, for folks who couldn't make it to Las Vegas this weekend to buy one of the 500 cartridges he made up. If you don't have a 2600 emulator, never fear - there's a Flash version online. The AtariAge thread has a long post from Ed, explaining how it came about - pretty cool!

HBO Mini Contest - Moar Titlelines, plz
Waypoint was kind enough to give us some Noble Six Avatar Helmet codes to give away - so last night, that's exactly what we did. Forumgoers had 7 hours to come up with new and entertaining title lines for HBO's front page - and they managed to turn in over 400 entries. Our seven favorites are listed in this post. Congrats, folks! And thanks, Waypoint! (Louis Wu 17:24:59 UTC) (permalink)
