Top Ten Halo Screenshots: Brute-tastic! This week's Top Ten Halo 3 Screenshots is called 'Brute-tastic' - fans have taken a huge variety of cool Brute shots... and Hawty's collected ten great ones here. They range from awesome to funny. (Louis Wu 19:44:58 UTC) (permalink)
Noble Doodle
pete_the_duck brought us word of a Twitpic done by Penny Arcade's Gabriel (and retweeted by Bungie) - it's Noble Team, in Gabe's inimitable style. Yeah, it's true, Emile stole Jun's sniper rifle... but dang, it's still a great pic! (Louis Wu 16:21:44 UTC) (permalink)
Reach Bonus Armor Chart Confused about DLC armor for Reach, and what's available to you? FyreWulff whipped up a pretty slick little matrix that should help you figure out exactly what you'll get, depending on where and how you buy. (Louis Wu 16:21:09 UTC) (permalink)
McFarlane Reach Series 1 Photos
TDSpiral pointed out Spawn's full-on Reach Series 1 Action Figure photos; lots of poses of each figure, and where you can get them. Some of these are killer! (Louis Wu 16:20:48 UTC) (permalink)
Halo: Goodbye (SoM Remake)
Tycho2001 stopped by with word of a remixed version of The Siege of Madrigal, a piece of music that Marty originally wrote for Myth, but has included in every Halo game as an easter egg. I like this version! Give it a listen. (Louis Wu 16:20:15 UTC) (permalink)
Gaming's Greatest Debate
xxjuicesxx was the first (that I saw) to point out a new tidbit from IGN - it's an IM chat between fans of a couple of heavy-hitting shooters, and it might make you chuckle. (I enjoyed it.) Thanks to Avateur for pointing out the full article.

Halo Action Comic
We got word from neo56695 about a 'Halo Action Comic Chapter 1' on YouTube; it's a story told in screenshots, with added fades and music. There's no dialogue, and no motion... but it's still an interesting experiment! Chapter 2 is live, as well. (Louis Wu 16:11:08 UTC) (permalink)
It's like a kidney stone. Only bigger.
Yesterday's Bungie Weekly Update went live, as expected - the Chris Opdahl Q&A is still happening, just not until next week. Luke Smith stepped back in to fill in the fans - and though it's short, it's still pretty sweet. Bungie will have its first Release Candidate of Reach by today - congrats! And there's some additional information about Reach armor, and what you can get, and what happens if you DON'T get it. There's a bit about a fan who participated in Bungie Day, even without an Xbox. There's some really interesting info about Reach Achievements - and an opportunity to jump to conclusions which many forumgoers (here and elsewhere) have already availed themselves of. And there are some cool Achievement-based wallpapers for your iPhone (or similarly-sized device). Go read! You can, as always, read it in our Weekly Update Archive. (This was live last night, even though the newspost wasn't.) (Louis Wu 16:09:56 UTC) (permalink)
