Of Emblems, And Podcasts...

Just sayin' that is makin' me miss Donut.
Red vs Blue Revelation Chapter 4: Recovering One is now live at Rooster Teeth's site - more CGI coolness from Monty Oum, more RvB funni from the rest of the crew. Loved the dialogue in this one! Swing by and watch it. (And if you're one of those people who managed to see the opening of the season at PAX East or the Alamo (or online from either of those places) - realize this is the last episode you've seen; from here on in, it's brand-new!) HaloGAF Delivers. As any long-time reader of HBO probably knows, the Halo thread(s) on NeoGAF are goldmines of awesome content; I've gone through the Halo Reach Beta thread there, and pulled out all the content that hasn't been mentioned here yet. Go enjoy it. - Demoncarnotaur has a pretty cool girlfriend; she did her best to build him a Wraith cake for his 21st birthday. It might be a little flat... but the effort is awesome.
- Kibbles went through the Carnàge Carnivàle ViDoc, and pulled out all the actual gameplay footage. No devs - just play. 4:37, in YouTube's HD.
- Six-Okay (ex-343 Community Manager) whipped up a Power-Puff-Girls-inspired version of Noble Team. Check it out on his blog. Thanks, Zeouterlimits.
- Dani ran across a YouTube video from ConsoleCreatures - it's footage from the Canadian Press Event last week. Nice flavor, for folks who've never been.
- More art, courtesy of Zeouterlimits - Ben K, of Ars Technica, tweeted about Gamma360's drawing of Emile.
- Kibbles pointed out that Xbox Evolved converted an Inside Xbox feature about the Reach Beta from its XBLM flavor to a web-based flavor.
- Waypoint's Cocopjojo let the thread know that they'd filmed a full-length video of an Invasion match - no editing, just gameplay - and put it on YouTube. This is really, really cool. (Especially since you won't be getting your OWN chance to play this gametype until May 7.)
- Waypoint's GLYPH pointed out that if you don't have access to Halo Waypoint on Xbox LIVE, you can still watch their Reach Beta Primer online - either streaming, or via download (it's a 343 mb, 640x360 .wmv). Good stuff in there - including the first successful footage I've seen of the lock-on potential of the Reach Rocket Launcher. Hello, Halo 2!
- (One more) Son of Godzilla posted links to YouTubed versions he put up of Luke Smith's GamesRadar game+commentary. It's in two parts: Part 1 | Part 2
Go check this stuff out - it's super awesome. (Louis Wu 01:54:05 UTC) (permalink)
