It sounds like wrangling cats, but maybe easier.
Matt Priestley, Senior Producer at Bungie, gave a talk at the GDC about how to keep engineers on task and productive. His Powerpoint presentation is now available for download at Bungie.net. It's a pretty interesting read, if you're looking to see how a studio the size of Bungie manages to keep things running smoothly. (If you're looking for cool new graphics or Reach assets, look elsewhere. This one's all meat, no frosting. Wait, I don't think that metaphor actually works...) (Louis Wu 21:48:57 UTC) (permalink)
Does Not Compute...
The Tag and Release feature today at Bungie.net used the word 'Robot' - go see what folks have built. There are some really cool ones! (Louis Wu 21:40:07 UTC) (permalink)
I don't think that hair is regulation...
Hawty McBloggy has a photo of a Spartan who showed up at SXSW... hawt. (Louis Wu 21:28:30 UTC) (permalink)
Skullface'd

Bungie Aerospace Sighting - in the wild
L0U1F3R noticed the Bungie Aerospace logo (we mentioned it on Friday) being worn by Joe Staten in a photo of the Fireside Chat he participated in with Ray Muzyka - definitely starting to get interesting! (Louis Wu 21:20:39 UTC) (permalink)
Hunters Patrol Tony 'ubald' Marcotte put together another Halo render - a pair of Marines meet... a pair of nightmares. Scary work! (Louis Wu 17:36:47 UTC) (permalink)
Well, it's a Tuesday, at least.
Computer and Video Games is floating a rumor that Halo: Reach might be released on September 14, based on "UK retail sources". Given that just three days ago, Bungie said "we don't have a release date set in stone just yet", I'm inclined to take this info with more than just a grain of salt... but if it makes you feel better to have a date to put on your calendar, go for it. (Thanks to NeoGAF's evanswolves for noticing this.) (Louis Wu 16:01:49 UTC) (permalink)
How about ponies for everybody?
360 Junkies' Jonathan Heier decided to take a look at what might be next for Halo Waypoint - swing by and see what you think! (Louis Wu 15:56:04 UTC) (permalink)
On Halo's Audio
cheapLEY noticed an Jay Weinland's talk at the GDC at IGN - there are a bunch of interesting tidbits, but the most interesting (for me) was that Halo audio is actually better for users with a hard drive than for those without. Give it a read!
