Halo: Reach Preview from G4 G4TV has put up a 'Halo: Reach Preview' - it's footage from Bungie's ViDocs, mixed with interview footage of Marcus Lehto recorded at X10; if you've been voraciously consuming every tidbit on Reach as it comes out, there's nothing new here, but if you're not paying close attention, it's a nice 2 minute summary. Thanks to NeoGAF's NeoGIF for the heads-up. (Louis Wu 21:29:39 UTC) (permalink)
Boom, headshot!
bwwaaaa sent word that he had a sizeable library of SWAT films built up on YouTube (79 of 'em, though some are from Call of Duty) - if you like SWAT, this contains full games, cool moments, famous players, everything you could want. Go watch. (Louis Wu 20:53:24 UTC) (permalink)
Montage Tuesday
Video offerings from Bungie's Comm Chatter today: - Bang Bang is a montage from Audacity - editing doesn't get in the way of great clips.
- Enigma + Krantz + Snowboarder1306 is a tritage from (wait for it) Enigma, Krantz, and Snowboarder1306. Nice sniper action.
- One Hit One Kill is a goosetage from Gorillars. Splatters and brokeback action.
- Into Yesterday is a Halo 3 montage from jEEborz - filtered sounds and filtered video.
- Till I Collapse is a high-energy montage from Cydronix - lots of multikills.
You could make a montage from these montages... (Louis Wu 17:49:17 UTC) (permalink)
Really, Chief? Taylor Swift? Adam Grumbo let us know that Master Chief and a Stormtrooper were caught on film, panhandling for Taylor Swift tickets on the streets in downtown Austin. Oh, Chief... you disappoint me sometimes. (Louis Wu 17:25:51 UTC) (permalink)
Guns 'n Ros- er, Daisies
Hawty McBloggy highlighted a tattoo of a Battle Rifle... in a flower. ...wait, what? (Louis Wu 17:25:18 UTC) (permalink)
The Last Montage from HaloContest Morpheus let us know that the last montage from HaloContest is online - for a little while, at least. Go watch! Update: Morpheus uploaded a new copy - watch this one instead. (Louis Wu 17:23:07 UTC) (permalink)
Put your best face on
Gilver pointed out that an article at IGN discusses the licensing of Image Metrics' facial animation code, known as Faceware - they don't mention Reach by name, but Xmoosev3 reminded us that the Game Informer article confirmed that Reach would be using this middleware. If you're a fan of what Image Metrics can do, this is great news! (Louis Wu 17:22:36 UTC) (permalink)
