Battle of the Brick - Exclusive Trailer
Kooberz is back, with a new trailer for his upcoming LEGO Halo fan film. The first trailer for this film went live in April - clearly, quite a bit has been done since then. Swing by GameTrailers to watch this version - it's 1:22 long, and available in gorgeous HD. The full film should be out early next year! (Louis Wu 20:05:50 UTC) (permalink)
That's not a basketball - that's my HEAD!
It's Friday, so it's time for another round of Friday Caption Fun at Hawty McBloggy's - she's put up the top responses from the last round (just a couple of weeks ago), as well as a new pic you should have no trouble finding something funny to say about. (Awkward phrasing alert!) (Louis Wu 20:00:14 UTC) (permalink)
Cheapest ODST yet
Halo 3: ODST is available RIGHT NOW as a Lightning Deal at Amazon - $29.99 for a short time more. (You won't see these unless you're logged in as an Amazon customer. If you miss this deal, the regular Black Friday price is $39.99.) Go! (Louis Wu 17:33:19 UTC) (permalink)
Spiral Path MegaBattle - Media Overload at Bad Cyborg
Rockslider's back with a new pair of MegaBattle movies - two different ways to approach the Spiral Path megabattle on Assault on the Control room. Swing by his forum post for links to all the goodies - writeups, screenshots, videos. (His site now has an RSS feed, for those who want more instant notification of updates.) Friday's Fan Fiction It was a slow week for the Fan Fiction section - only two new pieces for you. (Too many stuffed turkeys?) Go read! (Louis Wu 16:38:28 UTC) (permalink)
Get ODST for free from BGN
Speaking of Black Friday, Dave Kramer from Busy Gamer News let us know that BGN is giving away a copy of Halo 3: ODST in honor of the shopping occasion - just swing by between now and next Thursday and comment on the post! What's cheaper than free?

Buying cheap stuff (and spewing cheap lines)
Don't forget that it's Black Friday in the US - lots and lots and lots of cheap deals everywhere (if you're willing to brave the crowds) Hawty McBloggy highlighted the Top 10 Black Friday Deals for Gamers, from 10 FTW - ODST's $35 deal at Toys R Us made the list (though, as we've noticed, it's available from a lot of places, from Kmart to Target to Gamestop, for $35-40 today). While you're over there, be sure to check out her Twitter T&A Thursday - yesterday's question was "Master Chief just called and invited himself to Thanksgiving dinner. What are you going to make him?" See how her readers responded!) (Louis Wu 15:32:04 UTC) (permalink)
