RvB Recreation Chapter 6 - One New Message
Red vs Blue Recreation Chapter 6 is up for Sponsors right now - it'll be up for everyone else in about two and a half hours. If you haven't been paying attention to the various Red vs Blue series up until now, this episode will be really, really confusing. (Usually, that's not a problem, it's funny for everyone anyway - but in this case, story trumps comedy.) If you HAVE been following though... this one'll whet your appetite for the next one! Halo Chronicles Officially Dead
Still more info from Peter Jackson's camp - his manager, Ken Kamis, told the LA Times today that the Halo Chronicles project (announced at X06 almost three years ago) was killed back in January, as part of a series of Microsoft budget cuts. More Halo Movie talk from Jackson and Blomkamp
A couple of days ago, we mentioned a conversation Peter Jackson had with Joystiq - looks like he also talked to IGN. They filmed theirs - and got some footage with Neill Blomkamp, too. Interesting tidbits about the Halo movie - did you know that Blomkamp actually worked for five months on the project before it was scrapped? A Preview of Coming Attractions
If you're not sure about the whole Anime idea with respect to Halo, check out this monster post by Jordan117. He's gone to the trouble of finding decent examples of the work from each of the studios involved in the Halo Legends project - you can judge for yourself whether you think they can tell a story in the 'Halo' universe based on actual content, rather than speculation. Very nicely put together, lots of work.

- Hawty McBloggy noticed an episode of Letmelive4sho's Penguin Comics that references not only Halo 3: ODST... but ODS Steve.
- AfroRyan pointed out a new episode of Castle Vidcons that references Halo Legends.
- Bloogyo came by with word of Rat's Nest 22-5 and 22-6... and something else.

Happy... Shishka Day?
Bryan Simon has declared today, July 27 (or maybe July 26, when the video was posted - I'm not sure) National Shishka Day, and made a video to celebrate. There are a few Halo-related things about the vid (there's a Legendary helmet, a Halo 3 screenshot, and a picture of my couch from a Halo LAN party), so I suppose this can be justified as 'Halo news'...
