A new name surfaces
Gamespot has a 'rumor control' post about a newly-uncovered company name filed for by Microsoft - 343 Industries. Microsoft isn't commenting... but it sure seems like a Halo-related company name. (Louis Wu 21:49:53 UTC) (permalink)

I'm rather astounded this didn't show up at Hawty McBloggy's first (Hawty, missing a chance to rub herself all over with the Master Chief?), but hey - the important thing is that you know about it. According to Geeky Gadgets, another of the video game-themed soaps you can buy from Digitalsoaps is a Master Chief model. $7 to clean your privates with a Spartan... it's a bargain!

Odd Pods Series 2
Back in March, we mentioned Odd Pods, stylized figurines from McFarlane that should be released this month. (For all I know, in fact, they might be in stores now.) Turns out there's a second wave, coming in October - thanks to Flipyap, over at NeoGAF, for noticing. The Rookie's got a pistol, the Arbiter's got an Energy Sword, the CQB Spartan has a Spartan Laser, and the Hayabusa Spartan has dual magnums. So cute! (Louis Wu 11:20:19 UTC) (permalink)
