A Match Made in Halo
MTV's Stephen Totilo has a heartwarming story of two lovers brought together by Halo - who will celebrate that connection by working the game into the wedding. It's part of the invitations, it's part of the cake, they've even got a website. The wedding day? January 17, of course (117). Halo attire is strictly optional for guests. I'd rather not explain all the details on the front page, because doing so would require adding a spoiler tag to this post - but The Handmade Hero found an example of AI activity in Halo 3 that isn't particularly common. FROSTBITE
Lando Griff1n, from Halo3montage.com, let us know about FROSTBITE, a new montage edited by HAZMATV2 and featuring gameplay by A Yellow Snowball. If you like your montages with tons of effects and fast cuts, you'll love this. (I found the editing a bit overdone; I had trouble following the action.) It's eight and a half minutes long, and available either streaming or as an iPod download. Check it out!

Too big for their britches?
Not really Halo news, per se - but it's pretty intriguing for Bungie watchers; RotaJota pointed out an article in the Kirkland Reporter that suggests that Bungie might be leaving that town. They're outgrowing their current digs - and apparently the space they need is simply unavailable nearby. Triple Trouble
Over at GotGame, there's an article discussing the idea that game trilogies might not be the best thing for fans. It compares games to books and movies, and explains why a story arc spread over three games can cause problems down the road. Halo is used as a prime example.
