Recondary.
Wow. So remember how last week, the Legendary Map Pack was on sale for 400 MS Points? Turns out if you played any Matchmaking that used it (so, anyone who bought it last week, or anytime before that, and actually USED it last week), you made yourself eligible for some free Recon armor. Out of the 'hundreds of thousands' of unique gamertags that played, they picked a 'sizeable selection of winners' at random. Were you one of them? Only way to find out is to check your perms when you get home! (Louis Wu 23:11:17 UTC) (permalink)
Vegi-saurs
Dennis Powers let us know that Shipwrecked 45 is now online - and there are new players on the field. (Louis Wu 23:07:46 UTC) (permalink)
A Baguette with Attitude
The 'Average Joe' series of community spotlights continues at Bungie.net - today's entry looks at RandomSauce, one of the guys behind the Halo 3 MythBusters series. Go see how he got into gaming, and what he does outside of Halo! (Louis Wu 19:02:40 UTC) (permalink)
Eve Films Practice Montage
Zandax is making a name for himself - he edited a nice montage last week, and today Bungie.net's blog has a new minitage he's put together, using footage supplied by Eve Films. Just two and a half minutes, nice composition! (Louis Wu 17:48:58 UTC) (permalink)
Clothing and Good Deeds
XerxdeeJ stopped in to point out the latest updates at Tied the Leader - there's an interview with My7hos, an HBO regular who donated the proceeds from the sale of a large collection of Halo memorabilia to the Tied the Leader Foundation recently, and Questions with Kiaeneto, a look at a clothing company started by a Halo pro and his high-school buddy. Go read! (Louis Wu 15:18:22 UTC) (permalink)
Are you sitting down? Good.
Hawty McBloggy noticed a fun little article at Headplay - these guys make headmounted display gear, and they've mounted some of their hardware inside a Legendary helmet for the ultimate in Halo-playing goodness. Check it out! (Running around while using this equipment is not recommended.) (Louis Wu 14:00:01 UTC) (permalink)
My Halo Numa
Impervium found a fun video on YouTube - someone took the Numa Numa song (English translation, one version) and added a ton of (hand-drawn) Halo references to it. Our forum seems to be split on its value. (Louis Wu 13:54:26 UTC) (permalink)
