I Bought My 50 Bryan Simon has been putting out original Halo songs (1|2) for the past couple of weeks - and now he's got a new one. Lichtonatus says it's "Made entirely of awesome" - and I'd have to agree. Go listen to 'I Bought My 50'... and laugh. (Unless you did.) Funniest tidbit, for me... the top choice in the 'Featured Videos' listing provided by YouTube. Do they know something I don't? Update: Penguinish got permission from Bryan to upload an MP3 version; it had to be ripped from the high-quality version of the video (Bryan didn't have one), but it sounds pretty good. If you want to add this to your playlist, grab it from us! (Louis Wu 18:06:29 UTC) (permalink)
Where's The Chief? Revisited
My7hos has kicked off a new feature on our forum - "Where's the Chief?" (He actually ran a feature like this some time ago, under a different name.) An image with a hidden Master Chief was posted on his blog, and folks set out to look for him. I'm not sure if I can front-page these; I was away from my computer for a 2-hour stretch today, and the image was posted and solved before I returned; seems like if you're interested, you should just watch for My7hos' posts. Next one coming soon! (Louis Wu 17:39:38 UTC) (permalink)

Details about the Peter Jackson Halo title?
GameGuru, a gaming site in India, has a rumor that I haven't seen elsewhere, at least not yet - and it contains a number of details that are totally new to me. I'm inclined to extreme suspicion at the moment... but will withhold final judgement for the time being. The gist of the rumor is that the Peter Jackson Halo title, announced two years ago at X06, will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show next month, and that it will revolve around a female Spartan. Real? Fake? Something in between? It might be a full month before we can answer this. Thanks to Merguson, over at NeoGAF, for noticing. (Louis Wu 14:29:55 UTC) (permalink)

Needs Moar Boost
Ross Mills noticed a writeup of a very cool entry into this year's Red Bull Derby, over at Kotaku - even though it doesn't move very well, I'd still LOVE to have that Ghost! (Louis Wu 14:17:21 UTC) (permalink)
