Hints of an upcoming Halo-only Event
geekinabox noticed a couple of articles (an interview tidbit at Eurogamer and commentary at Joystiq) which picked up on a comment made by Frank O'Connor at the San Diego Comic Con - apparently, there's a possibility of a 'HaloCon' event in the future. Hmm...

SDCC - One (or Two) Fan's Experience
Avateur wrote up a much more complete recollection of his trip to the SDCC - there's only a little Halo content in this one (he's written up those parts in other posts, linked within this narrative), but overall it's a detailed look at this large comic convention that draws many Halo fans every year. He added another post with lots and lots of photos. His travel companion, vlad3163, added some more flavor. Check 'em all out!

Bungie vs Microsoft - the signal for a shift?
Anton P. Nym found an article in Variety which looks at the situation that arose at this year's E3 (where Bungie and Microsoft tussled over how Bungie's next project would be presented) as an indicator of a larger shift in the videogame industry.
