Hawty McBloggy noticed a custom Halo 3/Star Wars action figure for sale on eBay - current bid is $14.99. (I mean, really, it's just a McFarlane figure with some horns glued on, and a felt cape, and some custom paint... but hey, how often are you gonna find one of these?) Out of this world - er, map
Didn't take long for folks to find some cool glitches in the Legendary maps. (I probably should cruise through the High Impact Halo forums to see more - but this showed up in my mailbox, which is always easier.) Over at GlitchBlog.com, there are a couple of videos from the ProjectModGaming crew in which they've glitched their way out of Avalanche (not in pan-cam mode, either) and Ghost Town. The first one, especially, is pretty cool (though I'm not sure I understand what they did). (Louis Wu 17:16:39 UTC) (permalink)

It contains an interview with Andy the Bomb, the standard Q&A with the Commissioner, and community news from the voice of Someday-Night Grifball. You can go listen at Talkshoe. Thanks, Quikthnkr. Halo 3, single segment, 77 minutes. Wow. XBmaster has become the first person to complete Halo 3 in a single run, without dying. It's on easy, and it took him 77 minutes (well, and 3 seconds, but we'll forgive him those three). You can watch it over at High Speed Halo. (It's also available as Fileshare-hosted film clips, so you can use Bungie's timestamps to confirm that this was done in one sitting.) Thanks, NOKYARD. Update: Sunburned Goose points out that this is not a 'no deaths' run; He dies jumping off the Scarab at 5:20 through the Storm. My bad, sorry. (Louis Wu 15:17:44 UTC) (permalink)
Zombie Death Squad
ZDSvideos let us know that Zombie Death Squad is a new thriller/action machinima; they've already posted a teaser. Go watch! (They're always looking for help, so if you like what you see, join 'em.)

Marines on the Beach
Rockslider's back, this time showing how you can get 10 marines together on the beach on The Covenant... and then do nasty things to them. Bad Cyborg! (Louis Wu 15:03:52 UTC) (permalink)
Wind Chill Factor
ZZoMBiE13 was very nice about it - but I screwed up, and forgot to post yesterday's Another Halo Comic Strip. Which is too bad, because it's pretty darned insightful. Well, I guess it's okay, because you can read it now! So go read it now, and become aware of one of the lesser-known dangers of Avalanche. (Louis Wu 14:18:08 UTC) (permalink)
