A second chance for actors
Anton P. Nym noticed an article in Scientific American about voice acting in video games - and both Keith David (the voice of the Arbiter) and Marty O'Donnell are mentioned prominently. The issue of residuals (an ongoing piece of the pie, paid to actors as the game sells, as opposed to a flat fee for the voice work) has been a bone of contention for years; check out this blog post from Wil Wheaton back in 2005, when the Screen Actors Guild settled with video game producers - and the other side of the story, from game girl advance during the same time. Mylar Print on eBay
Scanner Darkly is selling a signed, factory-sealed mylar print of Lorraine McLees' classic Halo 2 Chief. You've got a bit over 6 days to decide. Update: There were ANOTHER pair of eBay auctions announced last night on our forum - Nox Invictus is selling action figures. I hadn't realized we were going to get a flood of auction listings when I mentioned the guy who was selling some books; new policy goes into effect now. I won't be front-paging auctions unless I think that what's being sold is unique enough to be of interest to MOST of the community. MS says Halo Wars is Xbox-Only
