Fiberglass Armor - with construction notes
A few days ago, we mentioned some fiberglass-based Halo armor, being created by MLC. We've been sent some higher-res pictures to start a collection here, and will add to it as the armor takes shape. For now, check out the helmet, along with notes on how it was created! Thanks, Xavier. (Louis Wu 19:34:45 UTC) (permalink)
More lady spartans for sale
You might remember a custom female Spartan figure for sale on eBay back around the time Halo 3 launched; the artist is back, with two new versions. One's pink and one's green; they've got different weapons this time out, and they're missing the fishnet tops... but beyond that, they look pretty similar. Bidding starts at $159, you've got a few days. Thanks, bs angel! (Louis Wu 19:13:34 UTC) (permalink)
Twenty One.
Stuntmutt's Advent Calendar is nearly full; today's entry mixes a holiday joke with a bad pun. ...wait, that's every entry. (Louis Wu 17:55:28 UTC) (permalink)

Rockin' the World GameDaily posted a list of the '20 Biggest Stories that Rocked Our World in '07' - 10 was Bungie leaving Microsoft, and 7 was Halo 3's amazing first-week numbers. Not bad! (Louis Wu 17:51:02 UTC) (permalink)

Foundry Variants, from the Pros Foundry Variants, from the Pros
One of the perks for Bungie employees is that they get to stick their Foundry creations into the Bungie Favorites category whenever they want; go grab the maps mentioned in this article and see if it's favoritism... or just plain good mapmaking. (Before anyone gets bent out of shape about the wording of this post: these guys build multiplayer maps for a living, and many of you just paid $10 for three of their products; here are three more, sort of, that cost you nothing.) Friday's Fan Fiction Fourteen new pieces - prose and poetry, and even song - available for you today in the Fan Fiction section. Go read! (Louis Wu 12:38:39 UTC) (permalink)

Fragalicious
Last week's Humpday writeup mentioned that Bungie had played The Frag Dolls - it doesn't, any more, but it did. And now we get the Frag Dolls Matchup in writing; this took place 10 days ago, but it's still a win for Bungie. Having been fragged by at least one of these Dolls, I have to wonder how Bungie pulled this one off... I'm gonna have to call shenanigans. Go read, though - Luke makes it exciting. Neurons, Ep 1 - a look back
BlitzSnake let us know that he'd posted an episode of a machinima program called 'Neurons' last summer - he's still working on Episode 2, and looking back, he feels Episode 1 is somewhat 'cheesy' (his word) compared to what 2 will look like... but it's still pretty well done; check it out on YouTube!
