Bungie Party Pix Bungie had a pretty swanky party last night, prior to heading out to local Seattle-area retailers for the the midnight madness festivities. Here are a few pictures from that evening. See if you can spot any familiar faces. (mnemesis 19:49:23 UTC) (permalink)

Let the tricks begin... Never ones to waste time, the tricking community has already been hard at work on Halo 3. If you head over to The Hushed Casket, rapture, Devin, Goatrope, and jayWHY have already got a tricking video available with what looks like at least two significant easter eggs (the Grunt sounds are AWESOME - that Joe Staten is a uniquely deranged individual). Also, rapture's got a detailed skull guide, for those who just haven't been able to find any of them. Yet. In the 9 hours since the game's been on sale. (mnemesis 16:32:03 UTC) (permalink)
Again with the reviews
(mnemesis 15:52:42 UTC) (permalink)
Bungie fan hits radio big-time! Sparkypinball heard Los Angeles-area morning show hosts Kevin and Bean talking on-air about how Halo 3 comes out, and what a big deal it is, and how they don't get it, so he took it upon himself to email them and fill them in on some of the details. Long story short, he'll be on the air this morning with them, plus a guest from Bungie Studios. If you can get KROQ anywhere, listen in starting at 7 am PST. Cool! (mnemesis 02:15:03 UTC) (permalink)
Halo Slackerz Pixellated noted a Halo-inspired Slackerz comic. Check IT out! (mnemesis 02:10:02 UTC) (permalink)
Trinkets! Russell McCormack found an interesting article on IGN on some Gamestop-exclusive trinkets. You can check them out here. Cool stuff! (mnemesis 02:02:09 UTC) (permalink)
A Couple More Reviews Just two reviews for you right now. I'm sure there will be more later, but for now, check these out. First, the Detroit Free Press picks a lucky reader to help them review Halo 3. Next, Ain't It Cool News (thanks, JC) posts their impressions of the game everyone's talking about (at least, eveyone in MY mailbox today). Check 'em out! (mnemesis 01:59:00 UTC) (permalink)
Kotaku in New Zealand Kotaku's got a piece on the festivities in New Zealand, the first place to legally buy the game at retailers. Nice ice sculpture! Thanks, Zeouterlimits. (mnemesis 01:49:27 UTC) (permalink)

Lastly (for now), if you're stuck somewhere and can't be a part of any of the late-night festivities tonight, check this post from Roger. Bungie's having a party, and you can watch and listen in as Bungie family and friends play Halo 3 in the multiplayer lab tonight.
