Did you like that messenger bag that Laird posted a pic of this morning? How about that sling bag over at Gamestop, as noticed by X1Zero? Well, okay, fine - then what about THIS messenger bag, picked up by Boxer? All of these are alternatives to the huge number of bags being marketed by Enmon, or the bags at the Bungie Store, or... ah, hell, there are more Halo-related bags out there than you've got stuff to put in 'em. Top of the sales charts - before release
There are no references for this, but if it's true, it's pretty interesting; Portalit lists the top ten selling games (all platforms) on the US sales charts (for this week? Dunno) - and Halo 3 - the UNRELEASED Halo 3 - is in there twice; once at 2nd place (!!) and once at 7th place for the Limited Edition. That's rather insane, if you ask me. All Things Considered discusses Halo 3
NPR's "All Things Considered" had a piece on the Console Wars yesterday; the gist of the piece is that hardware has been driving Nintendo's current sales lead, but with the release of Halo 3, Microsoft is betting that software will take over (and the tide will turn).
