The Riot 54
Sigafoos let us know that The Riot 54 has been released - community news, challenges, speculation... and Brathnok on speed. (Okay, not really. He's just not asleep, as usual.) 33 minutes, 13 megs, energetic. Go listen. (Louis Wu 19:04:48 UTC) (permalink)
Clowns are Scary. Rockslider has updated his Spotlight with Suzie series - the latest installment has Suzie talking about shield clowns. Wait... shield clowns? Go read. (Louis Wu 18:38:34 UTC) (permalink)
Lego Teaser Trailer
Kooberz is building a stop-motion movie based in Zanzibar - check out the trailer at Gametrailers. This should be fun! (Louis Wu 18:27:56 UTC) (permalink)

This Place is a Prison
trigger119 has put together 'This Place is a Prison', a music video set to the song by The Postal Service. Downloadable in WMP9 or QuickTime formats (the QT is a bit larger, but the quality is WAY better) - interesting visuals. Give it a look! (Louis Wu 17:15:14 UTC) (permalink)
Lots of Halo figures for sale

Hot Topic Adds Halo Merch
Hot Topic has new Halo goodies for you - a new propaganda shirt (thanks, ODSTAdrianFii, for the pic, since it's not on their site yet), and new pins - a UNSCDF pin and a Spartan Helmet pin (thanks, DHalo). These last two are also available as stickers, for what it's worth (UNSCDF | Helmet). Get 'em while the gettin's good! (Louis Wu 15:27:14 UTC) (permalink)
Virtual Virtuosos
The Dallas Morning News has a tongue-in-cheek editorial about video game pros; while it pokes fun at the whole idea, there's a grain of truth running through the article. However much the mother in question would like to ridicule the kids who are making a living (heh - in some cases, better than your average living) 'twiddling their thumbs'... they ARE making it work. Give it a read. (Louis Wu 15:12:36 UTC) (permalink)
I'd feel bad if any plasmas went off. Dan Baker created a really slick display for his Halo action figures - it's an (almost) scale model of the Pillar of Autumn, all set up for battle! Take a look. (Louis Wu 01:39:54 UTC) (permalink)
