Vs. Mode, Final Round
JeBr0nie noticed that the third and final part of the discussion between MTV's Stephen Totilo and Newsweek's N'Gai Croal is now available for reading. (We mentioned Round 1 and Round 2 in the last couple of days.) This one contains suggestions of how to make Halo multiplayer more beginner-friendly... but I'm afraid that if some of these suggestions were implemented, the game wouldn't be Halo any more. (Some ideas totally rock, however - a computer-aided analysis of your playstyle, pointing out what you did wrong? That would go a LONG way to improving skills, I'd think.) Give it a read. Bench
Sodagod wrote to point out a new Machine Enema project... 'Bench'. A janitor discovers a homicidal... sitting place? This one's pretty odd... but as with all Machine Enema projects, it's really, really well-done. Worth the download. Almost 8 minutes long - we're mirroring both the original WMP9 (61.4 mb) and a QuickTime version (63.5 mb).

Halo 3 Box Art?
Cocopjojo noticed that Amazon has what looks to be an official-looking picture for the Halo 3 box art; we know what the Legendary Edition looks like, and we know what the Limited Edition looks like... but as far as I know, no official packaging for the Standard Edition has been released yet. This might be it.

WorthPlaying says H2V is Worth Playing
WorthPlaying took a look at Halo 2 Vista - they felt it's a bit dated, but "a worthwhile title despite its age, and it's a prime example of how a console-to-PC port can be done properly". Nice. (Louis Wu 14:26:09 UTC) (permalink)
HTB Update
Sane Intolerant wrote to let us know that he's got three new comics up in his Halo Toy Box series. Average Life and Sans The Bellfry [sic] look at Halo 3 Beta gameplay, and Don't Do Nectar uses Halo characters to look at the upcoming game 'Haze'. Check 'em out. (Louis Wu 14:23:06 UTC) (permalink)
