Pew Pew Pew! Neo-Genesis posted a link to a Kotaku story announcing a Halo 3 laser tag set. "Halo 3 Laser Command" is slated to feature the Plasma Rifle, Plasma Pistol and the Energy Sword. Not quite sure how the sword's going to figure into that, should be interesting to see. (KP 20:45:36 UTC) (permalink)

MLG 2007 Halo 2 Rule Changes 3Suns writes to let us know that MLG have released their 2007 Halo 2 Gametypes, Rules, and Changes. Lots of new stuff, including shared squop-up turns, squidger contacts, and the difference between potted and free winks. Oh, wait, those are the international Tiddly Winks rules. Eh, same thing. Anyway, head over to MLG and check 'em out! (mnemesis 05:31:09 UTC) (permalink)
Everybody Out of the Car Tango wrote to point out this article at Figures.com which explains that Joyride's Halo 1 & 2 license has expired, as was previously mentioned, and that Joyride knows of no current plans to renew it. Another point of interest in the article is the fact that three other companies are now producing Halo figures, but on different scales. Leads one to wonder whether another company is in the works to take care of Halo 3 action figures in the 7" range or if Bungie thinks the three sizes they have right now are sufficient instead. Jungle Trigonometry 4 sodaGoD's Jungle Trigonometry 4 was released today, and I must say... it's some bizarre filmmaking. That's not to say it's bad - because it's far, far, FAR from bad. It's great, in fact. Just bizarre. Tiny Feet, for example... wow. Just... wow. The Frenchman... I loved it. Kraken... that rocked. In fact, the whole thing rocks. As always, fantastic effects. Great use of mods. Great voices. I was sure... yes I was. You can visit the official thread on the Machine Enema forum, or you can just grab a copy from us, in WMP9 format (112 mb) or QuickTime format (117 mb). Update: trigger119 points out that GamingTV has local mirrors (including a self-encoded H.264 QuickTime). (Louis Wu 02:50:37 UTC) (permalink)
