What A Bore. Friday's Weekly Update mentioned some new features Bungie's been adding to Halo 3 multiplayer. Stuntmutt focuses on one of the more useful ones in today's One One Se7en. (Louis Wu 17:53:16 UTC) (permalink)
Issue of the Week - Quick Scoping PEZ wrote to point out that halowiki.net has no information about Quick Scoping (a technique which takes advantage of the built-in auto-aim by scoping just as you fire) - but there are plenty of Halo players out there that understand it really well. If you're one of them, swing by halowiki and add your own knowledge to the community well! (Louis Wu 17:39:40 UTC) (permalink)
HALO heads 48 - 100th Podtacular Paul Maestri let us know that Halo Heads 48, celebrating the 100th episode of Podtacular, is now up. (I had no idea Foo Mo Jive looked so much like Jim Carrey...) (Louis Wu 16:58:05 UTC) (permalink)
No Pants Friday - A Bungie Life Lesson Over at Gamasutra, you'll find a Q&A with Max Hoberman, of Certain Affinity - the interview is mostly about Certain Affinity, and where it's going, but there's also a chunk of stuff about the making of the Halo 2 maps that are coming out soon, and about Max's experience with Bungie on Halo 2 and Halo 3. Thanks, Ma1agate. (Louis Wu 16:12:51 UTC) (permalink)
Eurogamer talks to Frankie Eurogamer got in a short interview with Frank O'Connor recently, discussing Halo 3. Not a lot of new content, but a few tidbits - for example, at the moment, you leave footprints in the snow on Snowbound (for a short time), allowing you to be tracked. (Of course, this might change before release.) Thanks, broony. (Louis Wu 12:55:01 UTC) (permalink)
