Full Playlist Overhaul Silly me... I didn't bother to check online when I read that Team SWAT had gone ranked; I'd have found that there were other changes, as well. As KP explains on Bungie.net, Team Carnage has changed, as well - this time, the list comes from the fine crew at Real Custom Games, a 7th Column group. KP's writeup has a full list of gametypes - looks like I need to set aside some time for playing, stat! If you visit the Optimatch forum, you'll find a new post by Ninja 0n Fire, as well, outlining the rest of the changes - games pulled, games added on the various playlists. Good stuff! Halo 2 XBL Change - Team SWAT Ranked Interesting - in what seems to be a stealth playlist update, Team SWAT is now ranked. When an explanation shows up from Bungie, we'll point to it. Thanks to Paul, on our forum, for the first local heads-up. (Louis Wu 19:22:19 UTC) (permalink)
I don't need a weapon - any more. Pixellated pointed out that Pixelated Pupils (a webcomic, no relation) was celebrating its 100th episode - and nicely linked all the Halo-related episodes. Good stuff! (Louis Wu 17:54:25 UTC) (permalink)
Sore Loser Paul Maestri points out that Halo Heads 16 is now live; a look at modders, and the reactions they engender. I'd forgotten how much I hate Monopoly! (Louis Wu 17:44:11 UTC) (permalink)
Chief and Cortana Luke McKay put up another Halo-related doodle today - we've added it to his gallery here. Love the hair! (Louis Wu 16:37:14 UTC) (permalink)
Briar's Armor Rocks. KP dropped by our forum this morning to show off a new toy he'd picked up. Yes, you probably want one, too. No, he won't send you this one. Yes, he's a poopyhead. (Louis Wu 15:34:55 UTC) (permalink)
Halo and the Aeneid Interesting. The Escapist has an article up now which tries to find an entertainment medium which can be compared evenly to videogames... and ends up correlating the Master Chief to Virgil's Aeneas. Nicely done! Thanks, Hanchen Lu. (Louis Wu 15:25:12 UTC) (permalink)
