Local Boy Makes Good Looks like Cody Miller's Legendary No-Deaths Halo 2 run (which won the Twin Galaxies Halo 2 Bounty earlier this year) has made the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records! Very cool. Thanks, Grande Carne. (Louis Wu 22:44:27 UTC) (permalink)
The Last Judgement Trailer Incogneto45 submitted to the MPRRS a trailer for 'The Last Judgement', a machinima project coming soon. The subject matter isn't very new - a small band of survivors, attempting to stave off destruction by the legions of Hell - but the cinematics are quite good; this one looks to be worth waiting for! The trailer is 2:20 long, and is available in either WMP9 format (24.4 mb) or QuickTime format (26.7 mb). Go watch! (Louis Wu 22:32:48 UTC) (permalink)
Miniature Halo Updated SESpider decided to repost the earlier strips of his Miniature Halo series with the style developed in the most recent episodes; we'll replace the old ones with the new ones as they come in. (Pages 1-4 are already up.) (Louis Wu 20:19:30 UTC) (permalink)
Wahttehhog Revisited Gah. Yesterday, I posted a note about Wahttehhog's 'Ancien Regime', a large vid that passed the MPRRS with flying colors. I'd forgotten, as I promised, to point out their blog, where you can comment on this piece - and where, if you're in the mood, you can download a much, much less compressed version (nearly 600 mb). (For the vast majority of the viewing public, downloading this will do nothing but burn Wahttehhog's bandwidth; the overall quality bump is not HUGELY noticeable. Think twice, and be nice, before grabbing this.) Thanks to Matt Macomber for reminding me politely. (Louis Wu 19:30:50 UTC) (permalink)
Zanzibar Sunset Very nice new commissioned piece from Pinkuh - a clanmate and her beau, enjoying a Zanzibar sunset. We've added this to her gallery, as well. (Louis Wu 19:24:46 UTC) (permalink)
Time... the avenger Heh - Bluestone found a new storage location for an action figure rocket launcher - what a great desk toy! (Louis Wu 16:06:56 UTC) (permalink)
