Halo 4: Playable Cinematics
Funky! Gamecheat13 has managed to mod his way into the Halo 4 cutscenes as a playable character! (The Chief is still present... he's just moving around him.) Weird and creepy! It's unclear whether he can actually affect existing activity - as you could by, say, dropping a Banshee into the final AotCR cutscene, but it's wild how you can get up close and personal to parts that were only visible from a distance. GrimBrother One returned to our forum to announce the latest Halo Bulletin - good to see him around! It contains info about next week's reboot of Halo Waypoint, pics of the upcoming Halo-themed ASTRO A50s, details about the Halo-related content available at New York Comic-Con this week, and the continuation of his very own series - "Canon Fodder". This in-depth look at events in the Halo universe is a fantastic resource, both for newcomers to the extended universe and for folks already immersed - there's so much out there it's easy to forget details. (We're also making one small deviation from the original Bulletin in our local version, for the first time: it seems that the screenshots are no longer presented in both full and thumbnail versions in the Bulletin, you have to follow the Fileshare link and download if you want the big version now. The Xbox One Magazine (from the UK) had an interview with Mike Colter, the actor behind Agent Locke in the upcoming Nightfall - a redditor clipped a question or two in which Colter states that his character is the primary one in Halo 5. It's been hinted at before, but it's nice to have it explicitly stated: recently 343's Dan Ayoub told Gamespot that the terminals that will be included in Halo 2 Anniversary will hint at story content from Halo 5. It's fall in Halo-land
This week's Halo Bulletin contains some nice tidbits: there's a Twitter giveaway, some great story background from (what used to be our own) GrimBrother One, a small FAQ focused on the copy of Halo CE that will appear in the Master Chief Collection next month, and some cool Autumn-themed screenshots.
