You Can Now Print Out That Halo 5 Spartan of Yours
The details are out and the ability is up for your to print out a 3D statue of your Halo 5: Guardians' spartan. In early November, I announced that we weren't going to hold the Guilt O' Lantern contest this year, since we only received 4 entries. Halo 5's First Free Content Update, 'The Battle of Shadow and Light'
The first of the free content updates for Halo 5 rolls out this week, called 'Battle of Shadow and Light'. It unsurprisingly contains the 'Big Team Battle' mode for 8v8 vehicular multiplayer on familiar maps created in forge and new REQs like the Shinobi armor (shadow) and legendary light rifle (light). Which Is Bigger? Halo's Blood Gulch or Halo 5's Raid on Apex 7?

Rockslider Does Away With Overloading, and Just Takes the Maw Banshee Like It's No Big Deal
Rockslider continues to impress with his Maw banshee snatch trick, and uberfoop posted a history to show just how impressive his feat really is. Go check his video to see all that time-consuming overloading business, which originally cost Ducain five hours worth of coffee and which recently cost Rockslider a couple of weeks reducing it to under 80 minutes worth, is not even worth needed! Some pretty cool news from the Xbox team as Halo 5: Guardians has the biggest launch in Halo history (though sales do include hardware this time). I did find it interesting that they saw a spike in digital orders after the YouTube stream and Halo 5 became the most purchased digital game on opening weekend! Cancelled-Movie Operation Chastity's Screenplay and Summary
One of the big fan projects of Halo's 15 year history was a fan made movie called 'Operation Chastity' that never quite came to completion. Tuckerscreator got together with some of the contributing members (Loftus!) for the movie, and were able to receive a copy of the screenplay from Pete Cooper, the movie's creator. As Tuckerscreator said, "It's a real shame that the film won't be completed, but at least we can know what it would've been like. When Halo finally comes to the bigscreen, let's hope that passionate fans like Cooper and others who helped him are there."
