Weapon Merging in Halo 5's Forge Creates the Scarab Gun and More
An interesting side effect of REQ weapons in Halo 5's Forge, it looks like after editing some weapon traits via a weapon pad, you can create splasers that fire rockets and brute plasma rifles that fire fuel rod ammo among other things. The Long-awaited Halo SPV3 Mod Releases TONIGHT at Midnight
One of the most long-awaited, well done Halo fan projects will see its release tonight at midnight (EST)! Masterz1337 stopped in with the news today that after years of development, you will be able to download and play the 'Halo: Single Player Version 3' mod for PC here shortly! IGN Previewing the Upcoming Warzone: Firefight With New Map, Vehicle, Enemy and REQ Footage
IGN has put up a quick preview of the upcoming Warzone Firefight update that shows off the Goblin and Wasp in action on a new Warzone map, as well as the new 'temple variants' of the wraith, banshee and ghost. Also, there's now confirmation of the old school beam rifle returning! Just for clarity, David Ellis posted on HaloGAF that Warzone: Firefight is still 8 players, the Wasp will be used outside of Firefight and the three new maps are spread across Warzone, Warzone Assault and Arena. Goblins and Wasps (UNSC flying vehicle!) in Upcoming Warzone Firefight Update
Some sly extras have just been revealed to be included in the upcoming Warzone Firefight update from an article at Polygon. Alongside the new REQs, maps and Forge canvas, they've shown off a new enemy unit called the Goblin and UNSC vehicle named the Wasp. Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition Listed in Xbox Store
It looks like there will be a regular digital edition of the upcoming Halo Wars 2, but also an 'Ultimate Edition' in the digital store as well. Nothing shows up now for the UE, but I'm sure its content will show up soon.
Update: No sooner than I posted, it shows up! The Ultimate Edition will include a Halo Wars 2 Season Pass for DLC which delivers regular updates that span more than six months and includes new Leaders, Units, a new campaign expansion and more content to be announced soon. The 'Definitive Edition' of the original Halo Wars is also included with improved graphics and runs natively on Xbox One and Win10 PC's.
