No Split Screen or LAN for Halo 5: Guardians
I believe we might have seen some hints at this before, but ArsTechnica has confirmed there will be no split-screen of any kind in our new Halo adventure. There's also the talk of no LAN support which is a downer for the communities (including our own) that get together to play Halo in person at times. Thanks for the heads up uberfoop! No plans for a Reach Remake
Phil Spencer was a guest on IGN's Podcast Unlocked during E3, and one of the things he said was that it's unlikely that a remastered version of Halo: Reach will be made before Xbox One backward compatibility makes it available.
"It doesn't keep us from doing a remaster or something, but clearly letting people play Halo: Reach and any of the first-party 360 games that they want to play is part of what backward compatibility is about. We don't have a plan right now for a remake of Halo: Reach. I suspect it'll be a backward compatibility game before we ever even think about doing a remake."

A Reminder: All content available to all players
Scooting back over some news in the past week we've overlooked - we've mentioned this elsewhere, but it bears repeating: according to Josh Holmes, all unlockable content in the game can be earned by anyone, by playing. Digging a hole and leaking information
MacGyver10 asked about some concept art that was shown in an Xbox Daily: LIVE video recorded at E3 last week... and while his question is a good one, you should take a look at the video he referenced just for general new Halo information! Frank O'Connor and Kiki Wolfkill join Major Nelson and Tiffany Smith about 8:30 in, and for the next five and a half minutes, they talk about Halo 5, with tangents into things like the Fall of Reach Animated Series (which is what MacGyver10 was asking about). Grizzlei on our forum pointed out a Gametrailers interview with Tim Longo from E3 that shows a bunch of the footage we've already seen over their conversation. What she pointed out from the video was an interesting bit of information! Apparently Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris will have dynamic conversations when you as the player are idle for a certain amount of time. Check at 6:30 for that specific part of the interview! Halo: Fleet Battles Concept Art and Painted Bust
As we noted Sunday, Halo: Fleet Battles finally has a release date! As a part of pre-ordering the tabletop game, there was the option to receive a resin bust of Rho 'Barutamee, one of the Covenant commanders depicted in some awesome concept art by Kory Hubbell! Locke - a man with two sources
Over on reddit, LairdM put together a few sources that suggested that Mike Colter might not be voicing the character of Locke any more in Halo 5 - that he might have been replaced by Ike Amadi. A followup by Frankie, on NeoGAF, confirms this - Colter is still the FACE of Locke, while Amadi is his voice. Thanks to Car15 for the heads-up!

Halo and Hand Cramps
Looks like TeamBeyond landed a pretty sweet interview with Josh Holmes of 343 Industries going into great detail on the new Warzone multiplayer mode, Req Packs, Arena multiplayer and more. Some of the highlights (or lowlights in some cases) are spartan customization, further req card explanation, no offline LAN support and on-map powerups are returning. ODST Reviews
More reviews are showing up for MCC's Halo 3: ODST - FilmsGamesETC liked it quite a bit (though they wished they could swap back to see the older graphics), and IGN loved it (even with minor framerate dips at busy parts). Neither review took points off for features that were in the original but not the remake (specifically, Firefight). As a huge fan of ODST's campaign (and someone who really enjoyed jumping back into this recently), I'm okay with that. :) Remember - it only costs $5 (and it's free if you played MCC in the first few months)! You Better Watch Out
Episode 9 of Red vs Blue Season 13 is now out for the general public - and that Santa guy we met last time? Yeah... he seems like he could use some lessons in basic human thought processes. There are things you just don't offer! This one definitely ramps up the tension - go watch! (And we didn't mention it last week when it was released, but there was a new PSA - The Sound of Stupid. I'd never heard of ASMR before... but it's okay, this PSA isn't really about that.)

Canon Fodder - HEV-en Sent

Scrambled Eggs
It's still early days, but fans have already noticed that two different easter eggs have been pulled from the MCC version of ODST. The first was the poster that could be found in Mombasa Streets that read 'Destiny Awaits', showing a picture of the Earth and the Traveler. (This was a nod to Destiny, just beginning its development when ODST was finishing up.) It's been replaced by a picture of the earth and the moon, with a caption that reads "For Her".
