Major Silva's Spike Grenade
On June 15, 2007, Major Silva sent along some photos of a Brute spike grenade he'd been building. From the creator:
This project was originally going to be slated to coincide with the release of an uber-secret HBO page here on the site. But there's no telling when that may come to pass with this big ARG thing going on right now. Not to mention Louis Wu and the staff being preoccupied with the Zune contest. But, here it is anyway -- ahead of predicted schedule.
Throughout the Halo 3 Public Beta I enjoyed picking up and using the new additions. Mongi, Assault Rifle, Spartan Laser, etc. But one of them outshined them all (a.k.a. I don't have the skillz yet to make any of the others). The Brute Spike Grenade. So, after about a week or so of off and on production, I came up with what you see below. You'll also find step by step instructions so you can create your own Spike Grenade!
