They're Random, Baby!

Halo 3: ODST Cutscene Library

The ODST Cutscene Library went up quite quickly; it was online within 3 weeks of the game's release, opening its doors on October 11, 2009. Thanks once again to Cody Miller for his help in recording, and to Chris101b for his contribution to the capture of the 1080p versions.

While the flashbacks can be completed in any order (after the first one), we've presented them in the order they appear in-game. When there are variations (because of the difficulty level, or other in-game factors), we've provided all possibilities.

Downloadable versions are 2160p, 1080p, and 720p, with 5.1 audio, while streaming versions are 450p with 5.1 audio. (Some scenes are not available in 1080p; for those, you'll have to make do with 720p. Sorry.)

As of May, 2013, these have been upgraded to surround sound (with two exceptions - a version of the final scene in Data Hive that requires all audio logs to be found, and the easter egg at the very end; these are both still in stereo). Thanks, Cody!

As of July, 2022, we have 4k versions avialable for most scenes (recorded from the Master Chief Collection by (no surprise) Cody Miller). Be gentle; they're huge.

You can view a streaming version of the cutscene by clicking on a thumbnail.

Identical to the other version, except that the Rookie whistles their new friend into the open. This version appears once you've completed the audio logs.
