-- AS TOLD BY HUNTER_KILLER -

1200 Hours, November 6th, 2003(Military Calendar)/
Remains of Alpha Base,
HPC

The Armory was still intact, and we loaded up. Before we went, I found a Dead Elite body(There were many), and took the Plasma Sword.
There were also several Health Packs that had been looked over by Wu and his troopers. Those were most gratuitously received by our wounded.

The Pelicans and U-Dropship were in a tight formation, flying towards our target. I looked into the scanner scope. A large spaceship-or what was left of it-was half a kilometer away.
The Chapter appeared. "FU..." Said someone over the radio.
"...And the horse you rode in on" I said, thoughts on Main and the others we have already lost.
"Hi ho, Silver!" Came over the radio.
"Hold on, guys," I said, looking over my HUD. "A group of Pelican hulks at point eight nine... Pilot s, bring us closer."
"Yes sir," Replied BOLL, as the dropships swung around 40 degrees and began to descend. "H_K... receiving radio signal; It's Wu and his crew. Patching it up."
"HBO SOS. HBO SOS. Any UNSC or HBO forces, respond. Mayday, Mayday. We've been shot down near PoA, need assistance. Any humans copy? Setting message to repeat. Over. HBO SOS. HBO SOS..." Captain Keyes's faint voice came through.
I replied over the Radio, "Naw. No humans. Just the remaining HBOers on Halo. No biggie."
"H_K!? Thank god!" Wu said over the radio with relief. "Some Banshees, Sentinels and 343 GS Jumped our transports shortly before we got to the PoA. They got us down here. But we took them out once grounded. And since the Pelicans sported a decent refuge from the sand, temperature, and other unpleasant things, we bunked here for about 4 hours."
"Glad to see you didn't die before we got here. Anyways, we got enough room in the lockers for you guys... I think," I replied.
"Damn," Keyes said, "I hate those storage lockers. Oh well, if it means getting out of winter in New Mexico and into my ship, then let's do it, H_K."
The Pelicans landed, and the Humans barely managed to squeeze into the lockers. We lifted off, and launched forward to the PoA. Or what was left anyways.

"Comfy?" I asked a Marine in the locker next to my seat with a smirk.
      "Perfect," Came the muffled reply.
"Hang on, everyone! We're on course for the slots, but a dozen Shades are giving us trouble! Landing in 20!" BOLL Yelled, as he ships swerved, zigged and zagged through the Plasma.
I was thrown from my seat, and the slipstream of air caught me and began to pull me out. Seeing this, Elf, Shade, Hawk, Odin, and Jenkins all grabbed my hand, preventing this.
"Seal the damn hatch!" Wu yelled from the Locker.
      "Sir, I..." A Tech stuttered,
"DO IT!" I Yelled to him. Then, CoLd had a bright idea and pulled a clump of meatloaf from his pocket, and threw it past me.
As it exited the hatch, it blew apart, forming a weave of green and brown substance over the opening.
Because there was no more suction keeping me about a foot off the deck, I fell face first onto it. And believe me, that's pure metal. And it don't feel very good either.
"Ouch..." I mumbled, struggling with the pain in my body for a second, then standing up. "Damnit..."
I fell back into my seat after a very hard veer by the Dropship, clonking my head on a wall. Shade began to laugh heavily, saying, "Ha! Now I see why he writes AsoWE!"
A small boom echoed, and a bullet round hit about an inch from Agent Shade's head. He jumped a few meters at this. I holstered my pistol. "I think you might wanna shut up now, Shade," FOrunner said from a locker, "H_K Means business."
Shade, attempting to look big n' bad, began bouncing a Frag in his left hand. The pelican jolted again, and the grenade slipped.
Everyone winced, as it fell to the floor and... did nothing. The pin wasn't out. I got real tired of this about now, and activated my twin Plasma Swords.
I began to dive for Shade, when Elf and Odin caught me. Shade looked very afraid, as I looked very mad. The two in my squad managed to force me back into my seat, and I attempted to calm down.
"Ok, guys! 5 seconds!" A large explosion rumbled, and Elf said, "BOLL! What in the blue hell is going on!?"
"We're hit! I'll try to keep it steady, but I-" The radio failed, an a second later the Pelican hit the access hatch. What happened now was unique: The wings, too long to go in, were ripped off. The front bent and twisted when it reached the end.
We began to teeter, about to fall back down. Cortana said to the Hunter/Hacker, "You did that on purpose, didn't you!?"
I yelled, "WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME! EVERYBODY INTO THE COCKPIT!" Shade replied, "But we don't have a Warthog or a Rocket Launcher or a-"
"Shut up," I said, as BOLL blew a hole in the glass view screen with his Fuel Rods and we all jumped inside.
Just as Elfster jumped into the door, the Pelican fell back out the slot, bumped on the engines and fell to the ground, 300+ feet below.
Another Pelican flew into the adjacent bay, back first, safely depositing it's troops. Our Covie Dropship hovered around for a minute, dispatching two Shades with it's guns before descending and unleashing it's boatload of Humans and CoLd.
The two able ships flew off again, and began to hover high above the PoA's wreckage(on my orders), waiting until I called for them to be at the Bridge Echo 419 was shot down over.
"Well," Said Odin as he dusted himself off, "That went pretty good."
