Triforce - Trailer

300 - Again
A couple of days ago, Vegechan stopped by to point out that he'd recorded a new Halo/300 vid. So far, we've announced 4 different trailers that tie Halo to the movie '300' (one | two | three | four). I didn't think I'd be linking any more - but Vegechan's version really hit home for me. Solidly done, entirely from stock footage. Halo ActionClix Details

Okay, what?
Over at Xbox.com, you'll find links for a video created by The Scissor Sisters, apparently inspired by the Halo Wars trailer. (I'm having trouble finding a link between the music and the video footage that accompanies it, but maybe it's just me. If you're using a Mac, the Microsoft movie links will fail (as usual) - but the direct streaming links work fine (hi | lo). Thanks (I think) to Computer and Video Games, for the heads-up on this one. Simply Greg stopped by to point out Energy Episode One: Routine Drop - the opening of a machinima series in which humans discover that they might not be alone out there... Energy: The Series (Trailer, plus info)
A couple of days ago, Simply Greg stopped by our forum to mention that his group's upcoming series, Energy, will be released on March 1. He'd linked to a trailer for the series, but I'd forgotten to mention it here - so I'm doing so now. Earth has been polluted to the point where humans are forced off it - the series starts when humans realize they're not alone on the planets they move to. Give the trailer a look! Halo 2: The Series Trailer (redone)
A couple of years ago, comradx started a pretty ambitious project - he was going to create a full-length feature film based on Halo 2. He released the first of seven episodes, covering Cairo Station... but then abandoned the project. Jamie98s has just picked it up; he's starting from scratch, and has plans to actually finish at some point. He's a significant way into the production - but what we have for you today is a trailer, to whet your appetite. 16.4 mb in WMP9 format, 16.3 mb in QuickTime format - and more on the way when we get it. Fireteam Bravo Trailer
QuickTactical pointed out a trailer for an upcoming machinima project, 'Fireteam Bravo'. His forum post contains links to a WMP9 version and a streaming YouTube version - and I liked it enough that we're hosting a mirror of the WMP9, as well as a QuickTime version. The Heretic Action Trailer
Sbear sent word that the Heretic Action Trailer has been released - this is the second of two trailers released for an upcoming series from Edgeworks Entertainment. This one should pump you up... and you don't have to wait long for start of the actual series - release date looks to be [censored]. Update: Wow. I was told that I was ruining the surprise release date by posting it here - because the page we linked to (see above) I guess was more subtle. I've removed the date. Floaty Silence 2 - Heaven Leapers
Hellhawk has released Floaty Silence 2 - no relation to Floaty Silence, or even the Floaty Silence 2 Trailer, but funny nonetheless. His forum post contains a QuickTime encoded with h.264; if you'd rather have a WMP9 version (18.1 mb), or a QuickTime that's more compatible with less powerful machines (18.9 mb), we're making these available locally. Update: Hellhawk took umbrage with my comment that this movie isn't related to Floaty Silence - he's not committing to a full series, but they ARE related. Read the forum post for more details. Halo on a GBA?
Kotaku has a story (with video footage from GameTrailers) showing (well, purporting to show) a Halo proof of concept sidescroller running on a GameBoy Advance emulator. Looks a lot like Halo Zero, I guess... hard to say what this is. A leaked version of the code that was discussed at IGN for the DS a couple of weeks ago? Thanks, runnersdialzero. H2V gameplay from CES
Over at H2Vista, rapture noticed 3 new clips of Halo 2 Vista gameplay over at Gametrailers; There's a clip from Sanctuary, and two from Beaver Creek. The play uses an Xbox controller instead of a keyboard and mouse... but it still looks pretty nice! (Louis Wu 13:39:58 UTC)

VGL - Behind The Scenes (the beginning)
Over at GameTrailers, you'll find a trailer, along with the first of three full episodes, of a Behind the Scenes documentary about Video Games Live. This is only peripherally Halo-related, in that Halo is one of the pieces played during the concert, but it's pretty interesting if you were ever curious about how these guys got started, and why they're doing what they're doing.
