Halo 2: The Series Episode 5
Jamie98s has released Episode 5 of his machinima project 'Halo 2: The Series' - The Oracle follows the Arbiter's fight through an infested lab and beyond, on his quest for the Heretic. I think Jamie98s has done a great job with the overall atmosphere of the levels; he's captured the suspense and fear very well (in some places, better than the game itself). This segment is 15 minutes long, and weighs in at a bit over 135 mb, in either WMP9 or QuickTime formats - grab a copy and watch! Update: mirrored now at GamingTV.org - thanks, trigger119. Halo 2: The Series Episode 3: Metropolis
Jamie98s continues his feature-length movie of Halo - today he releases Halo 2: The Series Episode 3. This one is set in Metropolis - a Covenant Scarab is wreaking havoc on New Mombasa, and it's up to the Chief to destroy it. The episode is nearly 21 minutes long, and weighs in at 152 mb for the WMP9 version, or 141 mb for the QuickTime version; check it out! Halo 2: The Series - Episode 2
Jamie98s dropped us a note to let us know that Halo 2: The Series - Episode 2 is done and available at GamingTV. Some really excellent work here, showing the Halo 2 story from the Pelican crash through the tunnels of New Mombasa. Great execution, on all fronts. The Jackal sniper shot, the Cortana sequence, the Hunters... Awesome! Update: We have a local mirror, for anyone who still needs it (168 mb - it's a 23 minute long segment), as well as a QuickTime version (162 mb). (mnemesis 05:25:19 UTC)

Halo 2:The Series - Episode 1
Busy news night - last bit for a while. Jamie98s let us know that progress on Halo 2: The Series is moving at a much-faster-than-expected clip: Episode 1, Cairo Station has been finished. He uploaded a version to GamingTV.org - with his permission, we've mirrored the WMP9 version (124 mb), and added a QuickTime version (121 mb). Cinematography is fantastic - he's done an amazing job of turning the Halo 2 storyline into a watchable movie. This chapter is nearly 15 minutes long. (Louis Wu 03:05:13 UTC)

Halo 2: The Series Trailer (redone)
A couple of years ago, comradx started a pretty ambitious project - he was going to create a full-length feature film based on Halo 2. He released the first of seven episodes, covering Cairo Station... but then abandoned the project. Jamie98s has just picked it up; he's starting from scratch, and has plans to actually finish at some point. He's a significant way into the production - but what we have for you today is a trailer, to whet your appetite. 16.4 mb in WMP9 format, 16.3 mb in QuickTime format - and more on the way when we get it.
