xbill | Load Point Bypass (and more)

On May 20, 2002, xbill posted to the HBO Forum:
I managed to "bypass" the loadpoint in Silent Cartographer by getting out of the map through a doorway.

He followed this up with several sets of interesting pictures...

The day before xbill posted this, we received another clipping movie in Silent Cartographer - this one from nemesis_007 (more recently, Destr0yer). It was not aimed at bypassing a loading point - but it DID show the getting into walls that this trick shows, and some of the views possible when you do so. Unfortunately, video quality was very, very low. Given this, and given that almost no information in that upload was not repeated by xbill, we've chosen not to serve that movie - but nemesis_007 should at least get credit for being the first to document the moving-through-walls-on-SC bit.

Movie Showing the Bypassing of a Loading point on Silent Cartographer

So... how badly can you mess things up if you have folks on both sides of a loading point? (How much memory can you use up by loading two segments at once?)
