Deus Ex Machina Returns
DigitalPh33r has returned to his Deus Ex Machina series (last release: a bit over 3 months ago) with Episode 9 - "Doomsday (Part 2 of 2)" Act 4. Might take you a little while to remember where things left off. This is clearly not the end. Thanks, UnSiLeNtSlAyEr. (Louis Wu 12:24:44 UTC)

Deus Ex Machina - um, the next part
DigitalPh33r has posted Deus Ex Machina Episode 9 - "Doomstay (Part 2 of 2)" Act 3 (yes, the numbering's getting a little silly) - John's fight against his robot duplicate comes to a head... and he meets up with an old nemesis. Thanks, Mags89 SBG. (Louis Wu 12:08:16 UTC)

Legendary and More
DigitalPh33r has posted Arby 'n' the Chief Episode 8, over at Machinima.com - it's a look at the Legendary Map Pack, and it's got some funny moments. (Thanks, SPARTAN 294.) If you swing by his blog, you'll see other news - he's done with It's a Wonderful Live, and the series finale for Deus Ex Machina is getting delayed until it's as good as he can make it. (Currently, he's shooting for 'late May'.) There's other news, as well - check it out if you like his work! (Louis Wu 17:40:19 UTC)

Symbiosis
Major Silva was the first to point out that Deus Ex Machina Episode 7 is now available on Machinima.com. DigitalPh33r's series continues in its odd progression... the numbers on the machinima.com page aren't right (they list a size of about 120mb, and a length of 27:31, when the episode is actually about 30 mb, and just over 16 minutes long), but you can download it there, or view it on YouTube (thanks, Vincent). Parasite
DigitalPh33r has released Episode 6 of his 'Deus Ex Machina' series - even though Plague's dead, Brent has plenty of problems still facing him - not least is a mysterious alien capable of taking over unwilling hosts. Eighteen and a half minutes long, some great camera work. Definitely sets up Episode 7 as an exciting installment... thanks to discopete019 for the heads-up. (Louis Wu 11:04:49 UTC)

Deus Ex Machina 5: Execution
When Deus Ex Machina Episode 4 was posted, it looked like the series was over. (It was even called 'The End'.) Swing by YouTube, though, and you can watch Episode 5, a 22 and a half minute piece from DigitalPh33r. (I assume this will be available soon on Machinima.com.) John recovers from his nearly fatal headwound, and returns to save his friend, and exact revenge. Thanks, Cortana4ever. (I've already asked if we could host higher-quality versions of these films - they're some of the best machinima out there - but apparently DigitalPh33r has an exclusive deal with Machinima.com, and can only release there.) Update: according to DigitalPh33r's blog, it is at Machinima.com already. My bad. (Louis Wu 00:51:44 UTC)

Deus Ex Machina: Episode 4 - The End
I'd hoped that I would have a high-resolution version to host for you before posting this news, but I need to leave, so it's better you know about what's out there than that you know what COULD be out there. DigitalPh33r has released part 4 of his Deus Ex Machina series (check our news for earlier episode links) - you can download or stream a low-res version from Machinima.com. (Thanks, Major Silva.) Very nice work, though it might not end as you expect... It's a massive 30 minutes long, though the download is only 43 mb. (Louis Wu 18:12:37 UTC)

Deus Ex Machina Ep 3 - Corrupt
DigitalPh33r's machinima project continues to improve - the latest episode is pretty powerful (and a hefty 15 minutes long). I wish it were available in a larger format - but I understand the need to save bandwidth. You can download it in WMP9 format from its Machinima.com home - or you can stream it from there or from YouTube. Thanks to Major Silva for the heads-up. (Louis Wu 12:49:23 UTC)

Deus Ex Machina
DigitalPh33r, the guy behind the 'Master Chief Sucks at Halo' series, started a new Halo 3 series called 'Deus Ex Machina', about a superhero involved in helping out the little guy. Major Silva found the first two episodes on YouTube (one | two), or you can download them from machinima.com. Pretty nice work! (Louis Wu 18:11:06 UTC)
