Briar's Armor starts on Halo 3 goodies

Pink: it's the New Black
Briar's Armor has ANOTHER helmet for sale on eBay right now - starting bid is $200, you've got a week, and this one's bright pink. (And when I say bright, I mean it.) To folks offended by the sight of Halo paraphernalia for sale being mentioned here... apologies. Briar's Armor - for sale, again
We've mentioned Briar's Armor in the past - they're back, with another suit for sale on eBay. This one has a starting bid of $1500 (as the last two did), and is red, with a weathered look. We even got a couple of pics of this suit, being worn to pick up an Xbox360 on launch day. (at the counter | with the goods) If you visit the site, you'll also find a few pics from DragonCon 2005, which took place in September. It looks like they got most of them from Star Wars Chick - there are a couple of girls wearing RvB shirts, too. Check it all out! (Louis Wu 12:03:16 UTC)

Armor Auction Followup
I meant to follow up on this when the auction ended - but the last couple of days have been really, really busy. Last week, we mentioned that Briar's Armor, one of the fan-created Halo 2 costumes we've been following, went up for sale on eBay. THe auction closed Wednesday - a few people were bidding on it, but the winner had put in an initial bid that trumped everyone... he (or she) picked up the suit for $2,324.99. Another Wearable Suit - REALLY high-quality
Holy... Webshift just wrote to tip us off to Briar's Armor, a website devoted to armor replicas of various sci-fi characters. The Halo stuff is amazing. Doesn't look like it's for sale (yet) - but keep an eye on it! (Louis Wu 17:53:23 UTC)
