Showing results 51 - 66 of 66 matches September 23, 2007 Link to this post Halo 3 Emblem List Psychophan7 has put together a page containing all the Halo 3 player emblems, so that you can begin choosing your Spartan customization. simpsonsrule thought this was pretty cool, and sent us a link. He's right, it's pretty cool, but the HTML page contains 80 separate images, and weighs in at nearly half a meg total, so rather than drain Psycho's host's bandwidth, I've saved the resultant page as a single image (600x1920, 136k). Take a look! (Louis Wu 07:53:17 UTC)
June 5, 2007 Link to this post Emblem Contest Winner Announced Over at Bungie.net, the winner of the Emblem Design Contest (remember?) has been revealed... it's a Pirate Yang to the Flaming Ninja Yin. Thanks, Radiago713 and deadguy71. (Louis Wu 17:53:40 UTC)

May 1, 2007 Link to this post High Resolution Halo Opens its Doors Matt6908 sent us a note about High Resolution Halo, a new site he's kicked off. We don't normally mention new sites, but this one is chock-full of cool assets like medals, matchmaking ranks, emblems, cutouts, HUD pieces... a cornucopia of resources if you're making Halo-related graphics. Check it out! (Louis Wu 12:52:45 UTC)
November 1, 2005 Link to this post XBList 2.0 Released Ben Hollis writes to let us know that XBList has been updated to version 2.0; it's now compatible with the new Xbox.com, has the ability to load XBL Gamer Tiles as well as Halo 2 emblems, and can popup notifications when your friends sign on and off. It's a Windows program. Check it out! (Louis Wu 11:51:43 UTC)
July 2, 2005 Link to this post Better Pics of new Joyride figures Nathan Koga noticed a new page over at Figures.com, devoted to the series 5 and 6 action figures coming soon from Joyride. We already pointed out pics of these figures at Joyride's own site - but these images are larger, giving you a better look at the figures. Is it just me... or does that center Spartan look like it has the Subnova logo as his emblem patch? (Louis Wu 09:54:33 UTC)
June 10, 2005 Link to this post Halo 2 XBL software for OSX mindquirk hivebrain writes to say that his Mac OSX software, which includes a Friends List viewer, a Halo 2 Stats viewer, and a standalone Halo2 emblem designer, is now fully compatible with Tiger, and available for download. Go Grab the suite - or just the apps that interest you! (Louis Wu 12:44:50 UTC)
April 28, 2005 Link to this post XBList updated Ben Hollis writes that he's updated XBList, his program that allows you to see who's on Xbox Live. Lots of bugfixes, update checking, and faster emblems. Give it a shot! (Louis Wu 09:59:05 UTC)
April 4, 2005 Link to this post Friends Watcher with Benefits Ben Hollis points out his new Xbox Live Friends List watcher, XBList. Runs on Windows, displays your Live Friends list in a buddy-list style. Incorporates player emblems, and double-clicking on a friend loads their stats. (Louis Wu 10:02:33 UTC)
March 30, 2005 Link to this post Emblem Checker works again Thanks to brokenwatch, of H2 Advanced Stats, for sending along the fixes needed to make our Gamertag emblem checker work again after Bungie.net's tweaks recently. Sorry for the downtime! (Louis Wu 13:35:01 UTC)
February 15, 2005 Link to this post Stalk The Enemy. (Or your friends.) SupaPuerco, of mindquirk software, points out his Xbox Live Friends app, a MacOSX-based program that keeps track of your XBL Friends list (when they're online, what their stats are, and so on). It also has a built-in emblem designer. Pretty slick! Check it out; it's only about 600k. (As far as I know, this is the first standalone stats viewer that runs on a Mac.) (Louis Wu 13:51:35 UTC)
January 26, 2005 Link to this post Stats Tracking and Emblem Checking brokenwatch and UNEXPECTED62 have been working on a pretty cool 'Halo 2 Advanced Stats' page; drop in your gamertag, and get a WHOLE lot of info (over time). Because of the demand for this, if you add your tag today, it'll be a day or so before you show up on their pages. After that, though, it'll track you, even through purges. A tiny subpiece of this an emblem checker; put in a gamertag, it spits out that person's emblem. brokenwatch released this code on the Bungie.net forum - we put a little input script on the front of it, and you can find it here. (We'll toss a link up in our forum, as well; that's probably one of the most common places people would WANT this.) It's unclear how long all of this will continue to work; it relies on Bungie's good will in allowing other sites (like ours) to leech off their resources, and the thread above has an ominous post from Achronos about that very subject. (Louis Wu 19:39:09 UTC)
December 27, 2004 Link to this post From the nose to the top of your shoe Missing things... it's an epidemic. Hep, from AussieXbox, sent word last week of a really cool didgeridoo (if you've never seen a didgeridoo, there's some good info here), carved with Halo 2 emblems, on display at Xbox HQ in Australia at the time. Now THERE'S shwag worth owning! (Louis Wu 13:58:18 UTC)
December 4, 2004 Link to this post Weekly What's Update After taking a week off for Thanksgiving, Frankie is back with another Weekly What's Update, a service in which Bungie answers questions posed by Halo 2 fans during the course of the week. One question asks about non-flaming ninjas - you can create your own using our new Multiplayer Emblem Generator (if you don't like those colors, feel free to change them!) - another declares that the cliffhanger ending of Halo 2 was intentional (which is about as close to an admission that the next Halo is in the works as you're going to get, I think). There are many others - discussion about clipping issues in multiplayer maps, answers about bugs and their fixes, explanations of obscure gaming references. The one thing I didn't see (that I expected to) was a mention of the 'Cable modem standby button cheat' that made the rounds this week; maybe that's coming. A great read - go check it out! (Louis Wu 02:27:58 UTC)
December 4, 2004 Link to this post Multiplayer Emblem Generator BOLL recently sent us a web-based interface for experimenting with the emblems you can choose for your XBL Halo 2 profile - and Bungie kindly allowed us to post it for you to use. (We needed to ask, since the image generated actually comes from their servers.) Go ahead and experiment - build your best avatar! (This isn't the only one on the net right now - recently, Yaksha pointed out another one at the Sponsors vs Freeloaders site. Try them both!) (Louis Wu 02:15:54 UTC)
April 4, 2003 Link to this post Kill that Easter Bunny! The MC with a Peace pendant? Now that's just wrong. Update: DocOctavius points out that it's not a peace sign, it's a Mercedes emblem. (And that's better, somehow? No, no... that's still wrong.) (Louis Wu 16:37:17 UTC)
