We'll certainly get to the rest of the Halo news today, but I'd like to spotlight the latest pages of 'A Fistful of Arrows', Leviathan's graphic novel set in the Halo universe. He dropped off nine new pages last night, along with a ton of no-text variations (for folks who want to use the artwork for wallpaper, or whatever), and some bonus work-in-progress demonstrations. You can find them all in the forum thread, but if you'd rather read them in standard webcomic format, they're available at The Fistful of Arrows site (all bonus art included). We are nearing the end of this tale; the next update will be the last. I will be truly sorry to see it end. (Louis Wu 14:30:42 UTC)
April 22, 2011 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows - Pages 33-37 Leviathan stopped by our forum this morning with five new pages for his 'A Fistful of Arrows' graphic novel. They're posted on the forum for nostalgia's sake, though they're also live in the story's dedicated site (the first new page is here). I have nothing to say about these that I haven't said already - but I'll repeat my sentiment that this might just be my favorite fan creation of all time. If you're new to AFoA, start at the beginning. If you're not, read the most recent five pages. Either way, marvel at a story well-told, and amazingly illustrated. (All of the new pages are also available without text - artwork-only. The links are below each page on the dedicated site.) And oh, yeah... Kat is cool. (Louis Wu 13:58:57 UTC)
March 20, 2011 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows (30-32) I saved this for last this morning, because it made me all kinds of happy. Leviathan has updated his 'A Fistful of Arrows' graphic novel with 3 more pages... and they're without a doubt the prettiest things I've seen this weekend. Go read. (Louis Wu 15:17:50 UTC)
January 28, 2011 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows (pages 24-29) I've already said that I've run out of superlatives for A Fistful of Arrows, Leviathan's graphic novel delving into Jun's actions outside of Reach. That remains true - I'm stunned by the quality of the latest content (Pages 24-29 went live last night), so stunned I can do nothing but implore you to read them. The artwork keeps getting better. New characters brought in from existing fiction are simply... perfectly realized. (Louis Wu 12:17:44 UTC)
December 16, 2010 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows Returns
Leviathan is back with four more pages of A Fistful of Arrows, his astounding Halo graphic novel - a recap (since it's been a while) and Page 17 can be found in this post, while Pages 18-20 are in this post. I cannot say enough about this series - it floors me. (Louis Wu 13:52:18 UTC)
November 14, 2010 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows, Pages 13-16
One of my favorite recent Halo projects has been Leviathan's A Fistful of Arrows graphic novel - the artwork, the story, the pure LOVE for Halo shines from every panel. And today, he's back with 4 more pages for your viewing pleasure! Pages 13 through 15 are in this post, while page 16 is in this followup. I'm running out of superlatives for this series - it's just too good. (Louis Wu 16:41:12 UTC)

October 21, 2010 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows, Pages 6-9 Leviathan is back with several more pages of his 'A Fistful of Arrows' graphic novelette - I don't know if I have the superlatives needed to fully express how cool this is. Pages 6-7 (plus a recap of p5) are here, pages 8-9 are here. If you process only one newspost this morning - make it this one.

October 17, 2010 Link to this post A Fistful of Arrows p. 4-5 Leviathan stopped in with pages 4 and 5 of his 'A Fistful of Arrows' graphic story - with every page, I'm more and more impressed. The art is spectacular, and the dialogue NAILS the characters. It's not often I wish I could hold off viewing fan content until it's finished... but this time, I'm frustrated that Page 6 isn't up yet! Go see. (Louis Wu 14:57:55 UTC)
November 15, 2009 Link to this post I'd pay for that.
Yesterday, a rather unusual thread popped up on our forum - unusual because it was filled with a level of vitriol that doesn't often show up around here. (Folks are generally more polite than all that...) It's not really worth pointing out, for itself... but one graphical response from a regular made me laugh quite a bit - and THAT'S worth pointing out. Take a look - and thanks, Leviathan. July 6, 2009 Link to this post A Sangheili's War - The PDF Version Leviathan created a story/comic/graphic novelette called 'A Sangheili's War is Never Over' during a six-week span in May and June this year; he posted the pages, as they were finished, on our forum, and we've been keeping you apprised along the way. Well, he's gone back over the individual panels and cleaned up stuff he wasn't thrilled with, added a cover, a title page, and a two-page text story, and then wrapped the whole thing in a PDF bow. (Hey, Mig! There's a PDF!) Go grab a copy (11.3 mb) - it's a fantastic read! (Louis Wu 13:58:46 UTC)
June 29, 2009 Link to this post A Sangheili's War Is Never Over - the Conclusion
Leviathan seems to have gotten tired of the 'one page every few days' release schedule of his graphic novel-ish story called 'A Sangeili's War Is Never Over' - he released the last four episodes all at once today. (Episodes 8 and 9, with a recap from episode 7, are in this forum post... and episodes 10 and 11 are in this forum post.) This really was a fantastic story - great plot, amazing artwork. If you've missed it, start at the beginning (links are in the first post)... if you've been keeping up, read the end! (Louis Wu 17:20:32 UTC)
