Preview the Halo 5 Soundtrack 30 Seconds at a Time
While you can go ahead and preorder the Halo 5 soundtrack here in the states (on either CD or vinyl actually), you can't preview any of the songs or even see the song titles...good thing there's an Amazon.com in the United Kingdom as well. Halo Community Update - 09/25/2015
Bravo posted the latest community update late this past Friday. They go behind the scenes of the Blue Team cinematic with with the animator Matt Campbell who as you can tell if you've seen the cinematic, is a hugh fan of the Halo lore and it makes for a great read. There is also discussion of the Osiris mission that was debuted last week and explanation of how the Covenant Kraken came to be. RUL Shows Off the Halo 5 Menus and Some Warzone Gameplay
Bounce-A-Gon linked us to some cool Warzone and Menu displaying videos from RUL. You can see here his complete walkthrough of the Menu system for controls and REQ items showing off the names of every helmet, armor, visor, stance, emblem and assassination. There's also a video of some gameplay on Raid On Apex 7 with more use of the REQ system (and the new mongoose with a reverse seat instead of standing platform) than I've seen yet. Arena Gameplay from RUL
Bounce-A-Gon twice shared a couple of new videos from Ready Up Live of multiplayer gameplay in Halo 5. There's some great Breakout gameplay on GAMBOL, and more gameplay on ALTITUDE, highlighting the changes to Breakout (including the new centralized flag to help with stalemates). There's also slayer gameplay on The Rig that shows off some new features (like an invisibility icon with countdown) and CTF gameplay on Coliseum we haven't seen before! While I would love to link every single one of them, it looks like the folks over at Reddit are already doing just that. The Fabled Unicorn Armor of Halo Lore
There are some pretty cool items that come with the Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Xbox One console just like came with the Halo 4 360 console. One item duplicated from the 360 LE console to the XBO console is the limited edition FOTUS armor. With the new REQ system, everyone will eventually have their shot at getting this armor, but LE console owners get it day one! Halo 5: Guardians REQ System Introduction
Bounce-A-Gon posted in our forum the first in a line of blog series that will get us Halo fans up to date on the new REQ system in Halo 5: Guardians. Check out the introduction to the REQ System from Josh Holmes on Waypoint for an explanation of terms used in the system, the packs you will be earning and examples of types of cards you can earn in the system. Still no word on how much microtransactions will cost, but we should expect more blogs on the REQ system in the future apparently!

Canon Fodder - Infinity & Beyond
The latest Canon Fodder is up at HaloWaypoint and features some juicy info on the latest in the Escalation comics storyline. We also get some story information via the Halo Canon YouTube channel as it pertains to Last Light, the upcoming Halo novel with Spartan Fred-104 and his team investigating a series of brutal murders.
Last, but certainly not least, there is a HUGE info-dump on Halo: Fleet Battles! Everything is in there from their experience at GenCon 2015, to new ships and ideas for future miniatures. Halo 5 Voice Actor Panel at Summer Sac-Anime 2015
In her travels to other forums, Grizzlei came across the links to a great Halo 5 voice actor panel from Summer-Sac Anime 2015. Steve Downes and Jen Taylor, the voices of the Chief and Cortana, were there of course, but the voice actors for Olympia Vale and Spartan Fred-104/Jul 'Mdama also were on this great panel. It's split into three parts, but Grizzlei has linked everything in our forum and even discussed some of the highlights of the panel! Game Developers Unite for War Child
This past weekend, 343 Industries announced they will be participating in War Child's 'HELP: Real War Is Not A Game' game jam. They will have six days to create a game based on a brief from War Child, and are joining some other great studios in this project like Team17 (Worms series) and Creative Assembly (Total War series and the upcoming Halo Wars 2).

Halo Community Update - 9/4/2015
Well we're catching up now after an extended weekend here in the states, and Bounce-A-Gon gave us a heads up last week on the latest Community Update from HaloWaypoint we missed til now. Bravo goes into detail on the new spawning system (reminiscent of the Invasion spawning from Halo: Reach) for Warzone multiplayer, shows off some cosplay armor and goes into detail on the work behind the freefall Osiris video from the Halo 5 opening cinematic. Red vs Blue Season 13 - Now Complete
Rooster Teeth released Episode 19 of Red vs Blue Season 13 last week... and today was the public release of Episode 20, the finale for the season. Combined, these two episodes are nearly half an hour long... and they do a fine job of wrapping up not only season 13, but also some loose ends from previous seasons - absolutely worth your time! The Official Soundtrack for the season, full of some really killer music, has also been made available for sale - swing by the Trocadero website for samples and info, or just visit iTunes for the entire disc. Canon Fodder - Shadow of Intense
GrimBrother One stopped by again with word of the latest Canon Fodder at HaloWaypoint! For the first time, we have details on Joe 'The Voice of the Grunts' Staten's return to Halo with his new novella, 'Shadow of Intent'. Details are sparse at the moment, but we do know we'll be back with Half-Jaw and joined by a new female Sangheili warrior in some sick armor! Halo 5 Doritos in Mexico
Pictures have been wandering around the internet for a while now, but this is the first official poster or display I've seen of the new Doritos packaging for their Halo 5 promotion. Whether we'll see these outside of Mexico remains to be seen, but my guess is we'll soon enough be able to slake our thirst with some Blue Team Mountain Dews to go along with this Fireteam Osiris chips!

While we wouldn't trade our Grim for anyone, there are other 343 employees that visit other Halo message boards, sometimes even the studio head! As a matter of fact, Josh Holmes let loose some info most of us missed on the cover of 'The Art of Halo 5: Guardians'. Sci-fi Royalty Loves Halo
There are a handful of science fiction universes that eclipse all others in terms of popularity, and possibly the granddaddy of them all is Star Trek! Rod Roddenberry, the son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, recently did an AMA on Reddit, and when asked what his favorite video game is, he gave an answer relevant enough to be posted on HBO! Remember those teases from the past few days, they were building to the reveal last night of (part of) the opening cinematic of Halo 5: Guardians!
