I have some pics of the blade arms I am working on as well as a few other shots. I also recut the blades in a more angled style.
Look at the blade arms and tell me if you think a cast piece would be strong enough to hold the blades for dislay and walking around with while in your chief suit? The arm will possibly have a section cut out as well, you can see it kind of penciled out in the pics. I dont have to cut the small panel out but it is like that in game pics. There is some other detail part that goes in that opening but I could leave it solid and detail on top of it.The gaps between the body will be filled in also, so some areas will be a little thicker. Do you think I will need metal reinforcements in it? I dont know what material I will be using to cast it so any suggestions based on experience would be great. I think it would be best to cast the arm/ blade holder by itself and not on the body. It would have 3 screws and possibly registry pins to attach to the body. What do you guys think. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
