They're Random, Baby!

Buy the new HBO shirt - in time for PAX (maybe)!

Wave One Preorders will close on Thursday night, August 11, at 11:59pm ET.

Basic Info

It happened. We're selling a shirt (again). kanbo took the initiative to get this started, and Leviathan made it very, very pretty. Now we need you - to buy it!

The basic design is shown below, in a representative color scheme. (There are 11 schemes available. If you don't like the one we showed - don't worry, there are lots more.) You can get a closer look at the actual design by just clicking on the 'zoom' button.

When we put it up for a vote, the majority of respondents wanted both sleeves to have decoration - you'll find the bungie.org logo on the left sleeve, and Bungie's Seventh Column logo (with permission) on the right. Both are smaller than they were shown in the original mockup - by popular request.

Below the mockup, you'll find some questions that came up on our forum - the answers explain the ordering system. Once you're comfortable with how it's all going to work, you should swing over to kanbo's store, TenTwentyFour, and put in your orders.

Shirt Mockup

The design below shows what the shirt will look like in green, with black ink. There are many other choices (the swatches on the right show you shirt color (the large rectangle) and the corresponding ink color (the narrow rectangle next to it). All of these are visible in the store. Final Mockup, with Swatches

Frequently Asked Questions

Is that the final design? Is there a possibility of more designs?

Yes, this is the final design for the current shirt. However, it is likely not the last shirt bungie.org will sell - and the next one will have a different design.

How much does this shirt cost?

It will cost $10. We are not making any money on these shirts - any extra that remains after the shirt sales are complete will be donated to the Bungie Foundation. Shipping is based on location:

United States:
$2.99 for one shirt
$3.99 for two shirts
$4.99 for three or more

Canada:
$4.99 for up to two shirts
$7.99 for three to six
$10 for six plus

Everywhere Else:
$7.99 for up to six shirts
$10 for more than that

What sizes will be available?

We are offering youth sizes from Youth Extra Small to Youth XL, and adult sizes from Adult Small to Adult 5XL. If we can't accomodate you... you might not be human. (If you want the Youth sizes, you should mention this in the Notes area of the order form.)

Can I get one of these by PAX?

We're going to do everything possible to get these ready by PAX. It's POSSIBLE (though we're not promising anything) that if you're coming to Seattle, and the timing is too tight, we'll actually deliver your shirt to you at the show. More on that as we know what's happening.

What kind of shirts are you using?

All shirts are G200 6.1oz "UltraCotton" Gildan tees.

How are we paying for all this?

This question, and the question below it, were answered directly by kanbo. HBO stands behind the answers.
We're not made of money, which means we can't put a lot of our (my) funding into buying extra shirts. We're going to be taking pre-orders for the first run very soon after voting closes. Pre-orders will be open for a few days, and after a set deadline, we'll put in a big order for the amount of shirts that were bought, in those specific quantities, sizes and colors. Like what was said earlier, this isn't going to be the only time this happens, but because we aren't in the investing game with these shirts, we can only spend as much as we bring in. If you miss the orders the first time around, don't worry- we'll do another round or two.

What is our money paying for, exactly?

Shirt money goes to buying shirts, simple as that. The more people that want shirts, the cheaper they'll be- that's what wholesale is all about. Shipping charges pay for post and shipping supplies.

Any extra money that we have at the end of this will not be going to me. It won't go to Louis, and it won't go to Levi. Not even to Avateur. If we have money left over, we'll be donating it to the Bungie Foundation. This project isn't about us making cash, it's about getting neato shirts to you cool cats and kittens.

Hey! I have more questions!

Any questions about the shirts themselves, or HBO's involvement in this process, you can send to Louis Wu. Questions about the technical aspects of purchasing should go to kanbo, at either the.kanbo@gmail.com or info@thetentwentyfour.com.
