also 500 years is enough time to turn the tables on anything, so no point in getting upset, just because your the big guys now dosent mean you'll still hold that position years from now, look at greece, once they held the largest portion of land ever obtained through concuest but now they dont have a 100th of that power

hey go back to 1812 the canadian armed forces marcheed right into washington burned down the white house and left the only other war besides vietman that america ever lost losing 2 out of dozens isnt a bad track record, you just cant win them all

You forgot Canadian beer, eh? Also I suppose your terribly upset that the U.S. soldiers are killing and opressing those poor Al-Queda and Baathists Also I didn't notice CANADA helping us with any of our recent conflicts. All they do is live in Igloos, drink beer, and play hockey all day long. Oh and in case you havent noticed, the U.S. wasnt the only one mistreating other races. So was Canada, England, France, etc. The majoratiy of american's are good people. (except liberals, democrats, Hillary and Bill Clinton, and the people who run public schools.

i appreciate canada's contributions with meat production (the US wont buy Canadian beef anymore because of MCD) and natural resources and military aid, but putting that all into a soldiers mouth in the middle of a battle was humorous but somewhat annoying. hey, it's your story anyway. 9/10.

oh, and 9.7/10. and US forces would hold out pretty long too, considering our rich military past, often victorious: the american revolution, the war of 1812, the mexican american war (with the Alamo in between), the civil war, the Spanish american war, the first world war, the second world war, korea, vietnam, the gulf, mogadishu, the gulf, and a whole bunch of other scattered NATO joint ops. no tto say that canada hasn't had its own victories, of course. they were with us through a lot of those wars.

killing people who are new doesn't really apply to canada. you killed indians just like we did, don't pretend you didn't. why can't our countries work together? we managed it in WWI, WWII, and Korea. now we're in a new war against the covies (in the story, of course) and we're united again. so you don't need to get all anti-american on us.

a lot of this anti-american or rather "americans are arrogant bastards" propoganda it sounds like you've been getting is only half true. as it said in Michael Shaara's "The Killer Angels" (aka "Gettysburg"), "You can't judge a race. You have to judge a man." just because americans haven't always lived up to that is no reason to insult us. it's not like you've never done anything in the past that you weren't proud of. as for stubborn, that is something i am proud the US is. it means we ain't gonna back down. I don't have anything against Canadians either, and other than a few random jokes i haven't ever insulted them--and i'm sure it's the same with you, just the roles are reversed. but making an "uprise" is going way to far and bridging the gap into unfair judgement. as it is, we hate a lot of aspects in our country as much as you--so go bother with reforming your own nation and take a break from ours.

declaring your story an uprise against the US sounds a lot like an anti-american theme to me. being only half american, i can say both that i am proud to be an american and that in general, americans are stupid and ignorant. which, IN GENERAL, they are. notice i didn't say we, because as i said being only half-american gives me also the perspective of the outsider. my mom has been stopped by cops just and just because she has a hispanic accent they gave her a heavier punishment than usual. so i know what ti's like. but, please, you don't have to diss america. it's not us, it's the liberals. (pacifistic, hypocritic sonsab!tches!)

10/10. way to go. and the whole 'america as the underdog' thing, i like it. i mean, america was 'founded' after all my family was brutally slaughtered by the colonists, so it's funny to see people get what they deserve. not that i hate america, its just i hate what its turning into.

And I have yet to find an amazing story revolving around Italy, or Mexico, or Russia, don't forget Japan and China, and a ton of other places. I hope you know that when the Covenant were bombarding Earth with nukes in the H2 trailer they weren't singleing out Canada. I'm sure it took heavy hits.
And another thing, from what I hear, the World and its colonies is united under one government. So, even though there will probably still be a Canadadian area and a United States area, they wouldn't be too different.
Your story, was pretty good. Like you said, this is just the beginning so you hav lots and lots of time to develop characters and plot. Remember to capitalize Covenant and Spartans.

This plave is not a united states dissing forum.
This is the future, as far as im concerned, I think that the U.S. is ignorant and stuborn.
This isn't the end of it you know, theres more to come. I wrote what I said, because of all the recent events... Now if you think this story is for dissing the us, You are terribly wrong.
I have yet to hear some kind of AMAZING story revolving around Canada.EVERYTHING IS US, the games, the resturants ect. So this time, I put Us as the underdog. If you havn;t got the message;
Americans have had no respect for others in the past. Maybe if you watched the gangs of new york you'd see. Because killing or abusing people who are new aint right. SO take a chill americans, you dont like my uprise, than dont read this
