this is very intruiging, i love your writing style, and i wish you could continue stories like this. It would also be cool if you could compile your stories and have them published in a halo book with the stories in it. I hope the views expressed in this story do not reflect your own. I, as a christian, have always hoped that humans would win in this holy war with the covenant(because, after all, thats what it is) The insight into the past of the covenant and the absorbtion of the other forerunner descendants intruiges me, how the humans were also a descendant and such. I felt pride when you said that the prophet was suprised when he discovered that the humans had discovered everything on their own, and it made me appreciate human ingenuity. I loved the story and keep up the good work! Also, as a side note, does anyone else get the eerie feeling that earth will be destoyed in Halo2?
