Ah, wasn't first to comment ;). Anyway, excellent chapter, as always. I love your character development; there are no 'flat' characters in your story, which makes all the more enjoyable to read. I look for to more chapters.

I liked the bit where the Sergeant explained why he had been at reach and the new neural chip test thingy with Ackerson.
