Witelancer's History of the UNSC is a great read for anyone who wants history on Halo.

Halo the Flood tells the story of Halo the game but it has side stories of the ODST aboard the Pillar of Authumn and there battle on Halo. I suggest you go out ASAP and get that book and read it. Can't write aobut the ODST without it.

Any technical stuff you know about the ODST I gladly welcome. I've read Halo: FoR and Halo: FS, but not Halo: TF, so a lot of stuff I usually have to remember from thsoe two books (by the way, was there a lot of info on ODST/Marines in Halo: TF?).

Another good chapter. I am beginning to like this series. I am glad that the ONI figured out about the Forerunners. Intriguing.

russ687, i have a series i'm bout to finish soon called Sergeant Vick. i won't tell you about it, but you should read it to get an idea on tactics and speech. I have one more part to go to finish the series which i'm working on. because i want to make the ending great its taking some time. Russ687, we are gonna be close since you working with my ODST. If you need any infromation on military stuff ( I know tons) or about Halo books especially Helljumpers let me know. I'll be checking ya comments page frequently.

Thanks, and you're right about the double officer thing, but I have plans for it... :)

Really good, I like how you are building this story. now for the comments.
platoons only have 1 officer, the Lt and then the platoon sergeant. Even spec ops platoons only have 1 officer, not two. but since u already have 2, u can just drop him. to indent use [indent]. I'm looking forward to your next post.
