Great all in all, but too many things that shouldnt have happened, one, after a month of "torture" from Mendez they would have dropped their hostilities against each other, two, after a morning of the "same old training" would they have the enrgy to start a food fight? Also another factor in that they dont get breakfast or lunch. Three, they should be using an earlier variant rifle(cant be a a MA3, because in FoR the MA2B is a smaller version of the MA5B and that the number is before the MA3, so it had to be the HMG series rifles{also mentioned in FoR}dont ask, its probably a inconsistancy)

I was under the impression that when the Spartans were training they used the MA3 rifle, predecessor to the MA5B (see First Strike, pg. 257). But whatever.

"instead of the same old basic trainning for a month, it was time to train them in the art of rifle use."

1. Training

2. It's as much art as skill.

3. This story is rediculous. You might think of the Spartans as a bunch of snot-nosed little kids, but the fact is they were trained from a very young age to be the best soldiers in the world. They would never start a food fight, or flip each other off, or call each-other lame names, or even think of shooting at one-another. This story was sad. Sad indeed. . .

Pretty good. A nice, more detailed look at SPARTAN training. Anout the targets being a full year away, I assume it was yard, right? Anyways, pretty cool. Wriet another, but try to be more careful, I learned the hard way. Just take your time.

Well I have to say one thing. Totally pointless and run spell check next time: "Wow, those targets must be real far to be more than a full YEAR away"
