Damn, I have to comment on this, it's nagging on me like that french poodle my aunt has. Big word in fan fiction ALTERNATE. That's what we want: alternate endings and alternate story lines. That why I commented on my first post "I hope your not trying yo stick your story in the land of Halo." If you are you run into major problems in the future, if not you story potential is limitless. Think about it.

Good point, MCC, James could have been picked up. I can't really do anything about the Sam thing though, it's not like I can just kill him off, because not only am I keeping him alive, I'd be making up a totally alternate death.

Whoa, I don't like commenting to many times...but WHO SAID JAMES WAS DEAD. That armor can last 90 min in a vacume (sub. the time since pelican crash) so he could have very well been picked up (hint hint; wink wink) You never know with Bungie.
ex. bet most of you though Linda was just a side note in the end of TFOR, at least after finishing TF, but nope.

Good story, a little short, but good. Just one question: Didn't MC "get into action" for the first time after the first Covenant encounter?

Good job. I know that it's just the "intro" but the longer the better. Sam should be dead and James too. You got everything right as far as technical stuff and everything about the spartans was correct. GOOD JOB!

Sorry, I didn't know Sam died after getting the original. At least, I didn't recall it. I guess I'll change that in the future.

Well, I'd hate to tell you problems but I have to. I hope your not trying to stick yousr story in somewhere in the land of Halo. If you ARE then there is a problemo with your story line. SAM died on the mission right after getting the original armor. If in your story you refer to the MJLINOR with shield tech then you have two more problems. JAMES was launched into space after getting the NEW armor, there was no time to have another mission before that. (but we still don't know where James ended up) If you just made up a story including familiar characters great. Keep trying.
