woah, lol sorry arch the abbr. threw me. There's so many new writers since ive last written here and alot of this stuff sounds great i just havent had much free time at all to write much less read any fan fic and i apolgize to you authors ::group hug:: sniff....i love you guys... sorry to waste space on your comment page merc, it doesnt look like you have much to spare...lol

Alright enough of that children, stop bitching about the mechs, couple of you were right at many points but do we have to put SO MUCH EMPHASIS on the MECHS!? At least the author bothered to use CREATIVITY rather than drone on about the same old stuff! A lot of us hold back on the imagination and never let it run free, how are we to create a good story if we cannot let fantasy utterly destroy reality?

you wanted comments, criticism? It makes you realize what the audience likes and dislikes to a degree (mechs), but you don't have to listen. you don't even have to look at this crowded page. it's your choice, your ideas. We have opinoins too and we're doin our job of being decent people and reading your work and posting stuff, it is your opinoin wheter or not you should heed our words.Honestly, without an audience of any kind, it is worth writing and posting fics? You write to express your ideas, we're holding up our end by reading them.

yah i'll say.i made a fan fic with mechs in it but they didnt play a key role in the story, they were just heavy equipment.

Okay, so tell me, if this is a HALO site, why the hell are people discussing Mechwarrior? Talk about the finer points of sniping out a Scorpion pilot or some such HALO stuff.

Well actually they have mechs that can hover and "fly" using jump jets. The gyro systems are very advanced but if they are hit hard the gyros may overload and fall over. This also may occur if the jump jets fuel runs dry and it lands hard the gyros may over load, now a good pilot could recover but if you don't have a good pilot your screwed.

robo,robo. Arch is the veteran, he like beats me to every comment page. He'll be the first one to give you quality comments you can use. good how you tried to add variation, but i don;t think mechs are practical. that's a lot of metal, circutry, hydralics, and power for the same efficitiveness as three gunships. It's kinda hard to miss an enemy mech from far away and it's harder to miss if you're shooting at it. it would be hard to transport and assemble, requiring advanced gyros to keep it upright.

um well it was an alright story but i didnt like the fact that in the second paragrah, all of a sudden, it moved into battle without giving any discriptions other than 'Big Machines'. Nice idea, but it was not thought through.

As for being fast... you'll see. And i like mechs why can't they have mechs, do you want me to tell ya'll about all the wrong stuff in your story. May i ask you when did Halo ever mention an Ascendant? Your not posted on his story there was no Ascendant, you get it now.

umm right this kinda confused me, you gave just about no detail as to where the battle was taking place, and no mechs for the humans, and jackals are umm very slow moving so there would be no way one could climb up a mech and take out the pilot and such, any way, good idea just need to work on making it more accurate, wow that was one hell of a run on sentance.-peace

I submitted it in the rest of my email. I said tis kind of a crossover I like mechs so I threw um in my story okay? I have read fall of reach. ANd understand but I twisted my story a bit.

Arch, who are you? have you posted before? you seem to be commenting on every single series, i can't believe you have that much time on your hands...lol. Anyways, ill take this chance to announce the start of my second series which continues from the first one, "ODST Saga" just as soon as i get back from vacation monday ill finnish up the first part and send it in. sorry to those who enjoyed the first series, i've been rather lazy. also i hope to get a up a site sometime to mirror those new halo videos that are comming out.

Good idea, but it didn't really work out for you. The Humans don't use mechs, and if you read FoR, you'll understand a lot more. Besides, the Humans were reverse engineering the shields of the Elite. Try to think it through a bit more before submitting again.
