.....A little too much firepower for a UNSC ship. Besides, why put so many Archer missile pods on one ship when some could make the other ships more combat effective?

It sounds good, but a little out there. But I can't lie to you and say: "That is too many weapons on that ship. Simply because I love weapons. But do keep thigs in perspective and proportion for us.

It would be possible, even if EXTREMELY unlikely and hard to grasp that they could have had shields on their ships. The Master Chief and his SPARTANS had their shields on and before Reach. It is feasible to say then, that it could also have been possible for them to have upgraded it to a ship. It would most likely be innefficient, weak, and underpowered, but hey...whatta ya know right?

Yeah, your story line was a little wierd. And it sounded like your an excited kid wanting to just DUMP the weapons on a ship like that. And don't make her invincible either. We're talking about Halo here, not supermanships. It was good though, if not slightly irritating to my eyes. But hey, work is always needed.

If it seems boring at first I'm sorry. Size constraints made it so I couldn't really go all that in depth in the opening portion. I will write up the next section at some point in the future. Please be honest and tell me what you think about it, there's always room to improve.

I have read the books, at least all of the Halo books out there. In fact I just finished First Strike the other day. I didn't think about the shields thingy thanks, but for now I think I'll keep it. Who knows perhaps its some ONI thing that they never tell you about? Any and all suggestions helpful because there's always room to improve. Further sections as soon as my bout of writers block goes away.

Good opening, but at the time of Reach they didn't know that much about the Covenant and their technology. There is no way they would have shields before the fall of Reach, you should read the books. Good story any way, lets see where u take it
