Cool stuff. Never even thought about person armor version of the TADD. I was still thinking about TADD reactive armor for ships. Keep it up.

Nice writing, I enjoyed it. I see some classical science-fiction elements, TADD reminds me of the old sand... hmm... I forgot, but anyway good job.
Speaking about TADD, since it sort of does the same thing as a shield except further out from the ship (disperses the energy of an attack over a larger area), I wondered if active armor versions of it were being deployed. That is the TADD would fire automatically when an approaching plasma bolt was detected. And I think the Covenant might have something like a Plasma Cannon, a weapon that fires a continuous beam of plasma energy. The TADD would have more problems dispersing this concentrated beam so there might be a opportunity for a major defeat of the Terrans in an upcoming engagement (just an idea).

i briefly thought about making a personal armor version of the TADD, but decided to go with something else. the personal TADD seemed a little too out there. youll find out what im talking about in a later chapter. i talk about the plasma cannon later, some little suprises.
