Like I said, the name is just coincidence. I haven't read The Flood yet. I've read The Fall of Reach, however, I am going on a trip to Greece in a week, and will buy the book for the plane. I look forward to reading it if somebody's head gets blown off. Sweet!

I agree with Ringo, Private Lovell was shot in the face by an Elite in Halo: The Flood.

In reply to Ringo: Lovell is just a name I thought of for the story. I have heard of an Ensign Lovell in almost every Sci-Fi show/ series that I thought Lovell should be promoted to Captain at some point. So I just added that name just because, well, I needed a name! Actually, although it was never mentioned in my story, Captain Lovell is actually a female. I described her in detail originally, however, it didn't really fit in the story so I scrapped it. Just a little hint. More to come from this series!

Your story includes a "Captain Lovell" I am just inquiring by asking is this the same Lovell that was shot in the face with a plasma rifle in Halo:The Fall of Reach, or some relative???
